Hey, guys! Hope all are well on this Sunday afternoon, or whatever day today is for @pkondz. Sorry, @pkondz I've lost track of what day it is for you. Things have been well on my end. Work has been good and busy, so no complaints there. I'm getting closer to my trip. I'm now down to 56 days until my trip. I started making dining reservations, or trying to. On 60 days until my trip I went to make dining reservations only to discover that the app was just spinning. So by the time I switched to my cell phone's web browser the reservations I wanted to make were gone. Kind of annoyed by that, but nothing I could do about it. I'll keep checking every day. I was able to secure a lunch reservation at The Coral Reef in EPCOT, so at least I got something.

Well, like @Captain_Oblivious, I have my first colonoscopy coming up....this Wednesday. To say I'm getting nervous is an understatement. I'll be ok, but not looking forward to it...especially the prep work. . I'll make sure to have an extra large dinner tomorrow night. Tuesday I'll be working, so keeping busy will help keep the mind off of food. Tuesday night's not going to be fun with what I have to do to prep. (shutters at the thought of what I have to take to prep).

Hope you are all doing well. I just got scheduled for my very first colonoscopy, so...yay? @wasnotafan will be happy, I'm sure.

Maybe all the prep work will help me lose weight.

Intermittent fasting is the new weight loss craze. So you might just lose a pound or two.

It wasn't as bad as all the horror stories I heard.

I've seen videos about the farts after the procedure. I'm hoping to have a few good ones myself. If it's going to happen, then might as well make them good.

Unlike other 'Invasive' procedures, the actual exam and recovery are not an issue at all.
The prep for it, however...

I get to go for another unexpected procedure on Monday 5.45am for a angiogram. I’m really starting to hate the hospital I feel like a pincushion there Ijust want to get everything over with so hopefully I will be able to walk somewhat again and get back to WD

Setting up an alert in Touring Plans for when I needed to start making reservations? I knew when I needed to start making reservations, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was trying to make them. When the 6 am deadline rolled around I was driving to work, so I couldn't make them right at 6 am anyways. However, there were still several reservations I could have made at 6:30 am, but the app wouldn't let me make them. The app just got the spin of death, so I switched to my phone's web browser. By the time I switched to my phone's web browser the reservations were gone. I've been watching the site since and will make reservations when they become available.

All's well that ends well.

I just now looked online and found a 4pm reservation for the Rain Forest Café in Disney Springs for the day we arrive, which is what I want, but I'm hoping for something a little later. I might grab it, or I might take a chance and wait. I know people tend of stack (horde?) reservations, and when they're ready to make a final decision they'll start dropping the ones they don't want. We're not foodies or anything like that, so we're not looking to get signature restaurants. One or two reservations ahead of time for some nice restaurants would be nice. If we have to walk-up, or take a chance the day of then that's what we do.

Try calling them directly since all the restaurants in Disney Springs are not owned by Disney they only get a certain amount of reservations. You can also do this in some of the parks if they are not owned by Disney

This... A better time for Rainforest shouldn't be that hard to get. I've also read that if you really want to make sure you get in you can get a Landry's card and they hold so many tables specifically for those guests... i don't remember if that is for reservations or walk ups though.

Every day's a holiday when you work where the motto is "We're not happy until you're not happy!"

Grab it. If another comes up (or you call and get better or get a Landry card) you can always cancel it.
