I did. But, it's not all it's advertised. It will be months before my reciprocity license goes thru, and I can see the billing practices aren't going to go my way. It's nothing unethical, just paying different rates for travel vs treatment vs administration. I'm too old to chase peanuts, especially with the travel involved.

Mornin', Gents, from a snow covered Cape Cod. It did wind up snowing last night, but it wasn't too cold so it's a wet heavy snow. It's now raining, so it no longer looks good for pictures. So, what I'll do instead is post a couple of pictures from past storms. Enjoy and have a good one, gents.

And, I still have it, but I already know it's not for me. I struggled to finish my time up for retirement. I want to work, but I don't want the next career for 5 or 10 years to be miserable.

Morning y'all from a decidedly soggy terra mater.
Not much on the Agenda today. The boy clicks over to double figures tomorrow, so I see some hefty PS5 time in my immediate future. Its all set up in the AV cupboard and updating, as I thought it m might be particularly harsh if he opened it and then had to wait 16 hours while it all updated from the factory set.
He gets to pick all the meals this weekend, so we started with Veal and Spaghetti last night, Cinammon buns this morning and we finish up with low n slow Beef and Pork ribs on Sunday night, taking a little detour through full English breakfast town in the morning. Thankful right now that we have socialised medicine, as I feel I may need a daily visit to to the Cardio ward. And the fat sucking department.
Crazy times at work, its always the same before the mother ship goes off, but it should go to nothing next week in terms of meetings.

As for the time I spent in the office today...

Are you back in full time or do you still get to work from home? The hierarchy at Bricksburg don't want us back until at least March, which means it would be over a year since I've been to the office which feels weird just typing out.

Morning all from a dreary looking country side. Not much snow to speak off and it is suppose to be 12c (about 54f) on Christmas Day, so no white Christmas here.

Not too much on tap today, have to pick up some Christmas baking and probably some groceries. Not back to the office to work until January so it is time for some relaxation.

Perhaps that is all I'm qualified for. West Ham and Aston Villa have played surprising well, and I like the style Leeds is playing. Liverpool looked undefeatable today, running up 7 goals.

I always forget that it's not winter yet. To me, winter begins November 1st (unless we're having an unseasonably warm fall or warm spell) and ends in April/May.
Much better than when I lived up North and it was Sep 1 - June 1.

Cheers. Yep, we are in full old school March time lockdown. Everything closed, no mixing, Christmas is cancelled. Ol Bo Jo announced it as I was bringing about 300 quid worth of Xmas food into the house, as we had plans for today, Xmas Eve and Xmas day. Anybody wanna buy 8 pints of cream?

On a more positive note, I have the reek of Beef ribs on me today, and there are more for me. Oh, and a truck load of beer and Bourbon, and Cadburys.

Supposed to start on the Yule Log (or as we call it Buche de Noel... which we then lovingly "translate" to "Christmas b!tch"... ) today with oldest DD. Don't have time to finish it as work starts in the afternoon. It'll be the first one I/we try to make as mom always makes it. But since Covid isn't allowing that sort of thing, it's up to us.

Well... there's a ton of information out there on how teens... maybe even especially girl teens are absolutely horrid. Between the massive mood swings and the bullying and... well... you get the picture.
Don't believe everything you read.

In this case you absolutely can because if anything, it's understated. But you shouldn't believe everything else you read.
