I do not like having to confirm my likes...![]()
You can leave that travel baton for me as I head to Zurich next Monday for a couple days of meetings in Germany.Good fixins there buddy. Hope you made it home OK. I’ll pick up the Biz travel baton, in the back of a car on my way to Heathrow.
Have a great day boys, enjoy your Sunday.
Tough one last night. The last 5 minutes was some of the worst basketball from an offensive / shooting point of view.Morning Guys.
Bit cloudy here today but it is warm. Got the deck washed yesterday so I'll bring out the furniture today. Soccer game tonight and then home for game 2 of the NBA finals. Country is going crazy over this, there is even a Jurassic Park set up here tonight at a local brew pub.
Have a good one all!
I'm not sure what triggers that. Most times I don't have to confirm, but there have been a few where it promoted my and I was VDF.I do not like having to confirm my likes...![]()
Florida chapter standing by.Morning, guys. Delaware chapter checking in. All is quiet on this fron
I know right? The horrors of a non-confirmed like.Well, heaven forbid you send an accidental "like"
Are Murican Lego bricks (still hard not to say legos) different from British ones?Evening chaps from a wetter than a lobster’s bathing suit Connecticut. Building Murican Lego tomorrow.
They are the same, except you pick them up in a drive thru, and they come with a deep fried option. Well done on the grammatical reprogramming. Are Murican Lego bricks (still hard not to say legos) different from British ones?
you know Zurich is in Switzerland, right? You can leave that travel baton for me as I head to Zurich next Monday for a couple days of meetings in Germany.
Yep - the part of Germany company is located is just over the Swiss / German border located most southwest part of Germany. Zurich is about an hour drive and closest major airport. Made this trips several times over the years.you know Zurich is in Switzerland, right?. I will send over the virtual baton on Friday when I get back.
I'm jus' bustin' yer chops buddy. Is it in Stuttgart?Yep - the part of Germany company is located is just over the Swiss / German border located most southwest part of Germany. Zurich is about an hour drive and closest major airport. Made this trips several times over the years.
It was cool today, I met the guy who built the city in the final scene of the Lego Movie (the one Will Ferrell has supposedly built), and they also have a ton of SW & HP stuff.
Off to a Murican steakhouse tonight, BBQ tomorrow (with Fried Pickles, obvs), back in Boston on Weds.

I’m not sure about the Geological make up of Madrid, but some kind of sinkhole is unlikely, unfortunately![]()
Hello gents, I’m just in Montreal airport on the way home after my conference in Houston. I have nothing exciting to report from the trip. I can give you details but all I could describe is the conference room, hotel room, hotel bar and restaurant. It was work focused and no free time. I was in an industrial area which was “on the wrong side of the tracks” and not advisable to go out walking in the evening to take in the non existent sights.
I did manage to get to Gatlin’s barbecue which was on Mark’s @Captain_Oblivious recommended Texas Monthly list. It was very good and I’m really glad I made it to a bbq place since it’s not the kind of restaurant I get at home. I’m getting meat sweats just looking at the picture again. If you’re wondering that’s brisket, pulled pork, and spare ribs with baked beans and mac and cheese on the side.

Hate the airport in Montreal, nice looking meat you've got there.
Why the Frak don't they hire more help?![]()

Jealous! I haven't been to Zurich since 2010.
Daughter's going to Germany for the school year after next, so we'll probably try to go visit her, but she expects to end up in Dortmund. Zurich's a bit of a hike, unfortunately. (So we'll probably go to Paris instead. Tragic.)
I knew there had to be something since he made reference to Murican ones.British legos snap on the left, are more pale, and depend on the American legos for support.
Anyone want to know what the worst week ever is? Yeah, it's Vacation Bible School. I'm home now and chased a double Makers bourbon with a Corona Extra. And, I have 4 more days of this carp. Maybe I should drink during the day tomorrow. It's brutal. Teachers of young children should be paid gazillions of dollars.
My oldest said she wants to go to France. I tell her she gets a trip around the world at Epcot each trip. She wasn't happy with that response.
I like VBS, although I tend to like it when it's over too.I suspect I could give my wife flashbacks if I mentioned VBS around her. She ended up running it for a couple years at our old church.
That’s because we:British legos snap on the left, are more pale, and depend on the American legos for support.
Fair dos, you don’t get much closer to the Swiss than that.Bad Sackingen
