Agreed. Brian was the best one. Truce.
Congrats to DD, North Carolina is far away enough from KY, right?
......
If you or DW have any questions, I'll be happy to help in whatever way I can. I've talked to many people who've had success with it I love science and the science behind it makes sense.

Congrats!!! My wife found out she was diabetic and started a diet program that day. She has lost 30 pounds, which she would like to lose another 20.On a different note.
I'm half way to my goal for weight loss.
As of this morning, I've lost 50 lbs.
I've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.Actually, in 3 weeks we get to Disney and I will NOT be on my diet there.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled DDC banter.
Thanks and congrats to DW!Congrats!!! My wife found out she was diabetic and started a diet program that day. She has lost 30 pounds, which she would like to lose another 20.
She started this around last April, bought a treadmill and she walks every day religiously. She was concerned when we went to wdw for two weeks this past September. She wasn't staying on her current eating plan. Believe it or not, we ate and drank everything she wanted too. With all the walking, which she wears a Fitbit, she managed to lose 2 pounds. Lol
We did more walking then we had done in years. I was the one huffing and puffing, she walked my butt off.lol
At the time, she was on insulin and she found it hard keeping her blood sugar up while down there.
Congrats again and good luck on the next goal.
do you all buy the alcohol package?

Yes, more than one...
She is now off all insulin. Portion control and cutting sugary drinks with exercise did it for her. Her counts went from 11 down to 4 in just a few months. She still tests everyday and her sugar ranges from 90 -105.Thanks and congrats to DW!
The keto diet is REALLY good for diabetics as well...the primary premise of the diet is keeping the blood sugar and consequently the insulin level in your blood steady. Do a web search on keto and diabetes (or you can look at youtube videos...there are a few doctors out there that do a good job explaining it in lay terms).
I expect (since I eat a lot less now) I might still maintain or lose at Disney even though I will eat what I want and we have an ADR at beaches & cream. Even if I gain a few pounds back, I'll just hop back on the diet when we get back and I'll be back into Ketosis in a few days.

Happy Saturday. Rainy day here and snow/ice forecasted next weekend. I'm ready for summer. For those cruise guys, do you all buy the alcohol package?
Crisco !!!! Eagle fans, not philly fans, big difference. Phillies and sixers all have won championships and no problems with poles. Flyers have won a few too but I don't think street lights were invented yet. Lol

Another thing we noticed, we eat a lot of sit down meals while we are there, Narcoossee, citricos, cali grill, kona just no name a few. She would always get an appetizer, entree, wine and dessert. She just can't physically eat that much anymore. Me on the other hand. Lol
She was a self inflicted diabetic. She basically eats what's she wants but she picks her battles. Instead of a big slab of chocolate cake, she will just eat a fork full.
Another this she has found, once she stopped eating a lot of sugar and sweets, she can't eat a lot of it because it's too sweet. She took a sip of my Pepsi to take a pill and she made a face and ask me, how can you drink that? Lol
Yeah, I figured one for both DW and I. I'm not buying one for the children.![]()
Just checking in. It Was Great to see Randall & Jodi again. One thing I can honestly say is that Randall can wear just about any hat and pull it off. I've meet up with him many times and every hat he wears looks great on him. I hope you were able to score more cards for the grandkids on your DisDads trip
. All of the dates I sent look as now are set in stone
. I will be at WDW next weekend (2/2 & 2/3) on a quick get out of the cold weekend, if any Dads are going to be there PM me I will be in 3parks per day
and would love to meet up with you

I live in Atlanta, so my choice of cola is constantly under attack, but that's okay, I'm used to tons of people being wrong.

Do you only get a limited amount of alcohol on a package then chief? I've never done a cruise. Do you get a load of vouchers to use or something?Oh yea, the kids. Well maybe just one then for the both of you. As my kids have kids, it's just the 2 of us when we travel. I remember one cruise where we blew thought one each in a day. It was a Very Good Day!![]()
Great scene. I'll just leave it there.I missed most of the past week's discussion but I will just leave this here.
Yeah, not a fan of Pepsi. The old logo was cool. Tremblant might be a step closer mate, we bought the curly haired ninja next year's ski stuff yesterday, as our local shop had a 60% off sale on. Happy days. You poor, poor man! Some day you may see the error of your ways.
*this poster meant to type "Life of Brian"Agreed. Holy Grail* was the best one.
