Nice sunny but cool morning up here. Just finishing up my morning coffee and read before heading out for a run. Not much else on the agenda for today except to firm up my plans for that extra hour we get today.

Morning all. Good tennis this AM, and knee brace is working.

Youngest dd at tennis until 2 today, and going to see Thor movie tonight.
My youngest is doing overnight trip to capital next week. It is a statewide 8th grade thing. She is really worried about it, but I'm not sure why.

As bad as the noon games were (especially Florida), the late afternoon games were unbelievable. Had to change the batteries in my remote. This is why I love college football.

Saw the Thor Ragnorak movie and enjoyed it. There were lots of scenes with the Hulk, which is what i enjoy the most, and he needs someone other than humans to fight. Good humor, and great villain character.

Sure you can. I only wrap the one front porch pole. It takes 5 minutes. I may not even do that. It was fun when the dds were younger, and now it's just more work for me.

Full English Roast today, with Roast Sirloin of Beef on the bone, Roast Potatoes, Broccoli/Cauli Cheese, Honey Roasted Carrots, Yorkshire Puddings, Parsnips (not for me, they are the devil's food) and lemon cheesecake for dessert.

My FIL (who is an absolute star) dug out his Cona coffee pot that they use in Victoria and Alberts and has passed it on to me, so that's going on later. In terms of work, only pressure washing the patio today. Man Utd v Chelsea is the big game, so with my FIL (who's from Manchester), there will be a bit of good will towards Man Utd out of this house today. Started to watch the Bama/LSU this morning, will finish off tomorrow. Just waiting for the announcement that the West Ham manager will be sacked this week. Bad news Bears on a bye week.

Morning all. Finished my morning shift at the church and am done for the day. Need to get an oil change for the car next week. The temp is back up over 70, and everyone is now coughing and sniffing because of the change in weather.

No mate, its the Cona Vacuum Size D, a proper retro. They go for about $350 on amazon. He brought it round without me asking and said he'd rather someone enjoy it. It was a wedding gift and they got married in '65. Obviously he had the first ceremonial cup. They are proper after dinner theatre.

You are welcome anytime although I'd rather be at your house tonight. Tried Yorkshire pudding one time when I was in your fine land and man that was good. My normal Christmas meal is beef (Thanksgiving turkey, New Years ham) so I am thinking about trying to make it. Some of the TVs at the bar were showing the ManU game but turned it to our football when the games started. MU was down 1-0 at the time.

Don't drink coffee but thought the way they make it at V&A pretty cool. Physics at it's best. Nice gift.
