'Morning all...
My but we got talkative yesterday. It's been a little while since I've saw that much chatter 'round here.
I missed where Randall was transitioning and headed off to WDW.
Enjoy the diversion sir and have extra Dole Whips when ever possible.
And good luck on the change in direction.
I follow that recipe very closely except I throw out the brussels sprouts.
The quickest way to improve any recipe would be to remove the Brussels Sprouts.
+1
Nicely done. I like putting the word "promotion" in there, but it works just as well with "retirement".
There a number of concepts that "used" to be possible but are no longer that will fit into that little speech.
My in-laws have been there since the end of Feb and they had someone drive their van down for them. FIL won't drive back so I get to go down for a few days and drive him back while MIL flies back.
You a good son in law, there.
Plan to stop any where interesting along the way?
Good deal, always nice when they come home especially for the moms. Ours arrives back home Thursday night and will be nice fro Mom daughter time as the fiance, did I really just type that, stationed out in San Diego ain't around for her to hang with. Feel bad for her but will be nice for the Holiday as we are having a house full of family & friends Sunday. Enjoy having the boy home.
Yep, she's quite tickled to have the boy in the house foe a few days.
letting go has been a bit of a struggle.
Glad your young'en is doing so well.
y'all have way more going on right now. I don't envy you the mixture or work and potential drama to come.
As of now, we don't see similar issue on our horizon. At least not in the near.
Hey guys, just found this group via one of your members that heads up the Clash of Clans clan I'm part of (Disneyworld clan!). Would be honored to join the group if you'd have me. Here's a brief intro about myself:
Real Name: Will - age 31
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Family Situation: Married with one daughter (8 months)
Occupation: Natural Gas Origination
Pets: 2 Labs: Belle & Bailey
Favorite Food: some good TexMex enchiladas
Favorite Drink: Tito's (staying loyal to TX!) or Makers Mark 46
Welcome to Hanging House. Not to worry, everyone is equal in my eye...
Oh wait... wrong movie...
I mean: welcome to the club house, sir.
Grab a beer from the fridge and a hand full of bacon form the snack bar and join in the conversation.
Is it just me or is this guy's Occupation and Favorite Food somehow connected?
Here's a tale of RV whoa that some of you might find interesting. My two cousins (brothers) traded in their aging Winnebago Class C for a brand spanking new Forest River Berkshire 2015 38 footer (actually 39.5). They are avid Disneyphiles and charter members of the DVC. They use the motorhome for their trips from South Jersey. So, i saw them on Saturday at a birthday party and was given the following tail (I know I spelled it wrong, but i'm just a dog). When they brought the RV home and were showing it off to family, the one brother's daughter was sitting on the living room side looking at the kitchen (they had all three slides extended). She says, 'oh look, a light bar to illuminate the floor at night'. Wrong. It was sunlight coming through the gap created because someone forgot to install the seal that wiped the bottom of the slide as it moved. Back to the dealer. It rapid succesion they had a furnace fail, and i won't bore you with the details of installing a wrong replacement, reinstalling the failed unit, trying to pass it off as a new one, and then figuring out it was a bad circuit card. A big leak in the cold water distribution manifold came next, then issues with the headlight/foglight control switches and an interesting glitch that caused the radio to cut out and the rear view camera to come on when the brake pedal was depressed. All in all, eight different and distinct isssues that screamed "QUALITY CONTROL". The only thing i could say was i hoped that with all this found and fixed before their first trip that they could now look forward to many many miles of carefree driving. I shall however, not hold my breath.
Yikes!
Apparently they should'a just kept the one they already had.
I wouldn't mind haveing a Class-C myself, but there are a lot of other things that take priority just now.
Always good to have the momma happy!
Yes... yes it is.
Yummy and Brussels Sprouts should not be used in the same sentence unless it is "I ate something yummy, unlike Brussels Sprouts."
This...
You don't know what you're missing.
Mostly bitterness I do believe.
Still get to be dad and help fix the car. Have fun spending time with DS. You all doing anything fun for Spring Break?
We'll do some family visiting for the holidays, but there not a lot else planed just now.
DW doesn't have any time off, and I actually have to work a bit Sunday morning so we can't really go too far afield. We're saving every thing up for the cruise in May. Mostly, for him, this short break will just be about chillin' and not being at school for a few days.
Hmm, both those guys used two very round, very jiggly smiley faces when referring to that particular commercial. Very Freudian....
That's pretty much the official club sanctioned smiley.
It should probably be made official.
So we've had an eventful morning so far. DS's bus was running 20 minutes late. He walked back to my car to ask if I'd just drive him, and then the bus went by without stopping.... That added 45 minutes to my morning commute.
Made it to work to receive a frantic call from DW because our HVAC inspector was there and the paperwork was missing... When they found the paperwork and then did the inspection, the system failed because there's a gap in the flashing... It's just barely 9am, so I can't see what the rest of the day has in store. Unfortunately none of this stuff is an april fools joke.
May that foolishness stop and do so quickly.
Way too many problem for one morning.
