Agree. 5 made and 5 blocked. That was great, and redemption for Croatia #10 getting PK blocked during stoppage time.

West Ham had one against Everton in the FA cup, about 3 years ago. We went thru every outfield player, the goalies ended up taking a pen against each other, Adrian saved the pen and then scored his. We won 9-8. The place went friggin ballistic.

Great save. You could have watched the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes and would have seen all the action that counted.

West Ham had one against Everton in the FA cup, about 3 years ago. We went thru every outfield player, the goalies ended up taking a pen against each other, Adrian saved the pen and then scored his. We won 9-8. The place went friggin ballistic.

Do you mean English Premier League? I get some of the games on NBC on Saturdays around 11:30 AM. Dan, what match time is that in the future? Sometimes, CBS will carry one the German leagues. But, I don't get EPL games if there is another sporting event, like show dogs? I don't get Champions League though. I have thought about Sling TV, but with Netflix & Amazon Prime, if I keep subscribing, I might as well just go back to cable.

Yep. You can get the live games on Fox Sports generally, that's what I watch it on in the states, as Sky over here who are the dominant football provider are the same company. ESPN also cover I think, with Shaka Hislop (ex West Ham Goalkeeper).

That one sounds like the 5PM game on Saturday that is covered by BT Sport. It's normally good teams, as BT have fewer games so they pick better.

I meant to try spatchcock chicken on the BBQ last night (yes, that’s a thing I only recently learned about), but had a few rain showers so family decided to go see Incredibles 2 and then Canada Day fireworks after. A really nice evening and we enjoyed the movie.
Anyway the good news is that the chicken has now been brining for 24 hours and I’ll be grilling it for lunch on this holiday Monday. Hopefully it’s worth the wait.

Morning gents. Saw a news story yesterday that showed a Chicago fire boat shooting water on the Michigan Ave. Bridge because it was so hot the metal expanded to where they couldn't open the bridge. Wow. Stay safe for those that are dealing with that kind of heat. Remember to hydrate.
