Good news yesterday. Made our room reservation for Marathon Weekend, a one bedroom standard view at the Boardwalk 1-7 to 1-14. Randall, if you get the chance, you can post it on the future trips page. Unfortunately, that is the only trip planned right now.

Another frosty Monday morning up here, this is really starting to suck.

Day off today, got some running around to do for the restaurant but should be a quiet Monday.

Yep - Just the Tuesday and Wednesday after Easter. It's the 4 in my family, my SIL, and also my MIL and FIL. My MIL and FIL have never stayed on site so I'm excited to show them the themeing and how immersive it is. We're hoping it's enough to make them want to stay on site with us for next year's spring break.

Basketball tournament with the travel team today, luckily the travel is just in to town.

DS had a rec league tournament on Saturday. 3 games, back-to-back-to-back. Still went undefeated, including soundly beating what was supposed to be a very good travel team. We preach smart, tough defense and when the other team was not able to execute any picks or screens, they really got off their game, started getting frustrated and taking bad shots. Thier coach was being a real #^$* during the first quarter, but when his team wasn't able to score at all in the 2nd or 3rd quarters, his attitude really changed.

Morning guys, Happy Saturday. Preparing for my own version of the British Invasion on Tuesday. The Brit is visiting and bringing two of his sons and his daughter-in-law for a nine day stay. Plans are to drive to visit friends in Tampa and snorkel with Manatees. After that we head to Key Largo for a few days of diving. And eating. And drinking. Man those Brits can drink.

You should really rent a horse and a tri-corner hat, so when their cab pulls up to your house, you can ride up and down the street ringing a bell and yelling "the redcoats are coming, the redcoats are coming!" Even if no one else gets it, I'd laugh my butt off.

Yup. The state refund will may get in by the end of February, and I don't pay Federal until April. I just wish taxes were based on actual government performance.

Wait, don't you work for a state school? And are always saying that you're done with work by 9:15am?

Sorry for the delay fellas. A week at BWV took its toll on me! Had a great time though.. Skewers at Ohana, Dole whips in Adventureland, Crab legs at Cape May, a Kitchen Sink! I did more than just eat but that's all that really matters right? Of course not.. Getting my sons first pair of ears and wearing them on Dumbo is what matters. Anyway, it was a hell of a week. Somebody mentioned free golf? Hit me up and I'll see what I can do.

Top O the Morning Dads! Got a crazy couple of weeks with business travel with a 4 day weekend trip with DS to Chicago to acatch a couple of Blackhawks games this coming weekend. Got a great one in DW who has no issues with us being gone on Valentines day weekend.

Just got back from our games today. We lost 66-63 in the semi the morning in one of the worst reff'ed games I have seen in a while. Each team had two guys foul out, including DS. We won the 3rd place game 50-44 in a game that was really ugly, there wasn't much enthusiasm for the game at all.

Sorry to hear, though days and games like that suck, we still miss them.

Hey fellow DIS Dads...we went to Tokyo Disney Resort last summer and I've finally got around to working on a trip report! Just click the link in my signature...it was a great trip! Got the first two days done so far! Enjoy!

Better to have a trip planned than to not have planned...........

looking to book our July trip. Want to stay board walk or blt. but board walk has nothing and blt is missing one day we need. They do have two bed room for 5 of the six nights but then would have to change rooms for the sixth night. problem is the night is in the middle of the week. PLUS it the most important night we will be there!! It will be our 25th anniversary that night.
I in all my trips there have only did split stay once and that was changing resorts after first night.Is it worth changing rooms for one night just to get the hotel you want? how much of a pain in the **** is it? We really want blt but do I really want the hassle on my anniversary day ???

Jim, there's a slim chance we can run into each other in August. The latest of 10000 revised plans has it back on and arriving on the 25th. Right now our main enemy is the value of the dollar, it's looking weak again.

Turned an offsite day trip during our spring break beach vacation into a two park day overnight stay at POR. Super excited.....fast passes, annual passes, and magic bands customized!
