Good morning all. It's Ash Wednesday today, so you might see some with an ashes cross on their forehead.
We survived bad storms last night - strong winds and more hail. Went to Mass this morning and the flag pole had blown over.
Yes, but still depends on region. I had Easter egg hunts as a kid, and there was candy inside a plastic eggs. We used to hide them that way for our kids, and we still do at the inlaws. The adults play along with one egg with $20 inside.
For DW, it was a way bigger deal. There is a local candy store that does chocolate eggs with your choice of several fillings. And, they write the person's name on top. Plus, her family also did the hard boiled and color dyed eggs along with the plastic eggs.
I don't hide them much around the house anymore, but I do enjoy eating them.

Do you do Easter eggs? That's a huge thing over here. The promo aisle in the supermarket tends to go Christmas, fitness for new year, then Easter. In April you can't move in our house for chocolate eggs that relatives have bought the kids...

Chocolate Easter eggs tend to be found in nooks and crannies around our place Easter morning...
