Happy Anniversary to us. I think I joined on thread three. Lots of new friends and Disney memories.

May things clear up a might in the near.
I hate it when life gets in the way of the rest of life.
Dang annoying.

That stinks. Hope things turn around

Sorry to hear that, CJ. Hoping the circumstances swing your way so you can attend.

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Howdy all. Took a week off from these here fine boards as I was visiting the Mouse. It was a anniversary celebration with the DW. Great to get away not sure I every want to do it again without DS.

I saw that. Looks like the two of you had a good time. Different vacations sans kids but I learned to enjoy them.

It's not so much the internet, it's more the satellite platform. The NFL has always had presence, since I was a kid, which is why I'm into it, as well as seeing live games.

The NFL needs you as its European spokesman.

Top O the Morning Dads! FIL has been sick with some kind of crud for a bit now. Went to his Doc for second time with this got some shots and more medication - already on 3 inhalers. Doc says if not clearing up by end of week likely gonna put him in hospital. He's 84 and not what you would call in good physical shape which isn't helping so we will see.

Sorry to hear. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Morning gents. Another (relatively) warm day is in the works. Unfortunately the roads are wet from last night's rain, so the bike has to stay home. Still +6C/43F with a projected high of 10C/50F isn't too shabby.
Not too bad at all for the middle of November. It has been mild on the east coast as well. Makes sense of course, since I already put on the winter tires.

Tried something new this AM and went to the gym before work. I'm not sure if I like it or not.
I've tried that before. I did not like it. A morning walk is nice. Anything strenuous, not for me that early. (Not a big fan of strenuous later, if I'm being honest).

Good morning guys. Well, we've made it to, well you know what day it is!

Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples or better yet, resort to resort. I found a resale contract for $67 a point thru TimeShare Store, which was an easy choice. We always planned to stay in studios, and it may have been cheaper to stay at a value resort with ticket package or room % deal. However, the Boardwalk is just an amazing resort and I wish I had found it when my children were younger, and could have walked the stroller back from two parks instead of loading onto the bus. We now tend to spend more time at the resort, only going to the parks every other day. We tried the other DVC resorts at WDW except the new GF & Poly, and will probably spend most of the rest of them at the Boardwalk. We had been 5 times before buying into DVC, and realized this would be a future destination. Ultimately, I liked that I got a good deal, but it wasn't the numbers that convinced me.
Thanks for the input! We really love BWV. On one of our Epcot days, we needed to get out of the park for a bit. We happened to have our refillable mugs with us so we strolled over to BWV. Sat on the boardwalk for a hour and then headed back in. We've stayed there previously and the convenience to Epcot and HS can't be beat. Plus the points per night seem low.

Where did they take you? Did you pick the resorts? Or was it the SSR building?
They took us just to SSR. They've got a model Poly room setup there and are working on another. They didn't tell us what it was a model of, but my guess is the new villas as WL. It wasn't the same as actually going to the resort, but the interior of the model room was just like the real thing, sans the view.

Happy Wednesday. Made it to the gym again before work, and it went better than yesterday. Plus, it isn't as crowded as in the evening. This may be my new habit - drop dds off at school and go to gym. I'm ok playing tennis in evening, but when it's dark at 5:00 PM, I don't want to leave my house for the gym. I will miss all the yoga pants though.

Oldest dd received two ribbons from last meet, third in team relay. She swam the anchor 50 m freestyle at 30 seconds, which was her fastest ever time.

).

Even going to play tennis outdoor again tomorrow. I'm enjoying this weather.

The first day of the rest of your life?

Ya know... that'd be okay if you were at Disney.

And had won the lotto so you could afford never to leave again.

Afternoon gents! About had it and taken Friday off so today is like my Friday Eve.
Wishing your FIL the best.
Thanks and so far he is feeling better and DW said he is better today than yesterday so keeping fingers crossed. Here is what Mickey wreathes look like. The Mickey heads are separate from the hung garland, I just make it look like one continuous line of garland. Used wreath frames from Hobby Lobby, different sizes for head and ears. Connected with cable ties and green electrical tape. Will pull down before I string lights and get you a pic of the the backside this weekend.

Nice on the working out in the mornings just could never get myself going early enough with work. Congrats to DD on posting her best time.

Awesome, well done to DD. I was hoping my youngest would get into competitive swimming since she was doing well in her lessons up to last year. But then came the point where she had to dive into the deep end, and that didn't work out. I was disappointed, but I didn't see the point in pushing her to do something she wasn't comfortable with.

Looks great, thanks for the pic. I don't have as much space above my garage as you, and I just string white lights around the garage anyway. But I do put garland on my front porch so I may be able to work something that way. I've been thinking of a decorating change since I've done the same thing for years now. I'll have to see how handy I can get. We don't have Hobby Lobby, but we have a place called Michael's which is a big craft store, so probably the same thing.

.

After lessons, she tried swimming around 4th grade. She decided to quit and return to dance. Then, she returned in 7th grade and has just loved it. I wish I had pushed her harder to keep with swimming as she is so good at it. But, I guess it was better she made her own decision.

Dude.

No one... no one wants to see a pic of your backside.

You speak for yourself.

okay. One person wants to see your backside.

I've just never seen one with string lights on before.

I just want to say--it's always a great comfort to know that I can miss out on a couple of days and then come back and see everything is just as it was in here. Never change, fellas.
