Sure has been a busy week and I'm 60 messages behind. Driving to/ from campus makes for long 11 hour days. When I get home, I spend about an hour with the family and then head to tennis, followed by shower, 30 more minutes with the family before bed. Plus, I haven't had any help this week, which means I haven't time to post during the day.
Never done that here. I did the BBB package for both dds at the castle one year. That was enough estrogen for me.
Been watching them here as well. I only get network tv versions though.
I keep trying to talk DW into moving south and enjoying the weekends on the beach to have the life of CJ. I think I may be convincing her.
That alarm does sound early, doesn't it. I usually wake up around 6:00 AM, alarm or not, even on the weekends.
It's getting better. I'm using a steady spray of febreeze daily.
That's awesome. Continued prayers for your son and your family.
My oldest does not like school. She does fine (As and Bs), but sees it as a social opportunity. With that said, she doesn't seem interested in a four year college, but is excited about getting an associate's degree and apprenticeship. She really wants to try welding right now. I joking said she ought to think about underwater welding, as she stays so long in the water with swim. So, she's again thinking about getting her dive certification to go along with that. At first, I wonder if no college degree is a bad thing. But then, maybe following your dream or doing what you like for a career is better than spending 11 hours on day on campus? Who knows. Lots of years still left to decide.
Just have to finish a couple of meetings today this morning and then finish a few things, maybe go with the girls to get our nails done. Okay, they get their nails done, I read a book, but three daughters here, it's kinda my life.![]()

In the office today but the Olympics will be streaming all day. Taking the day off tomorrow for some golf.

A tweet from La Cava: "Monday it's a "I want to fake my own death, move to Mexico and live on #tacos and #tequila" kinda day.

First day of school. DD is in 7th and DS in 9th. This setting an alarm thing is crazy. Would almost be enough to make me want to go back to homeschooling.

Can you get those pine-scented air freshners to hang from your mirror?

Hey guys. Thanks for not changing the locks. I've not been very active on the Dis lately, but just wanted to share a little video of the newest addition to the family.
He's 7 weeks old and proving to be a fighter. He's going to have to have another surgery sometime in the next couple of weeks to put in a shunt, but he's actually doing surprisingly well right now. Even with the pressure on his brain he's started showing us some positive neurological signs the last few days including being more attentive and able to interact with us. This video was from Saturday morning and this is the first time we've ever got him to smile while interacting with us. We've seen the sleeping baby smiles before but this was a pretty awesome moment.
That's awesome. Continued prayers for your son and your family.
Agree. Back in my day when we rode dinosaurs to school it was always the Wednesday after Labor Day until the third week in June. The kids do get a couple of days off at the end of September for Fall Break which used to coincide with tobacco harvest. Just going to have to learn to adjust to the new lifestyle. DS has less time in KY now than he has already been here. He can't wait to get out and it will go quickly.
