Happy New Year from DaWorld guys! Trust all had a safe and enjoyable night. Having a great time celebrated last night at DHS. Got to bed at 2:00 and up at 7:00 this morning for AK and started the day off with these. http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/d...C-460F-82B6-836E81083F1F_zpsfhckadmn.jpg.html

Sounds like a great time!

We are in the planning stages of being in The World over the holidays 2015, how are the crowds and parties for New Year, we watched the live feed from MK last night and are hoping to maybe be in Epcot for 2015 close out.

The neighbors had dessert but alas did not partake. What kind of desserts do you serve and do you deliver?

My wife generally takes care of the dessert department, usually homemade pies and cheesecakes, butter tarts, sweet loaves like banana, pumpkin and lemon cranberry. I would personally deliver! Just need that credit card number and I'm on my way!!

I'm good with that. Need your review on if they taste as good as they look. How long are you there?

Ask Norm, Jim or Paul for the number. I'll have one of each please.

New character coming soon to DHS.

Happy 2015 New Year Ownage. We went to Mass this morning and finished the rest of the sandwiches from last night for lunch. Time for the winter classic and football later today.

Not according to my mother. An old Florida Cracker tradition was to have them New Years Day and it brings you good luck in the coming year. Even when we had an all Italian dinner, there was a side of Black Eyed Peas. My personal experience is that it worked. Well, Sometimes.
?

I reminded DW that I was her good luck, as we went to her grandmother's where she cooked black eyed peas. DW doesn't go near them anymore. :lmao:

Never did really care for the bloody Mary, or at least never had one that was good enough for me to want to order one. Enjoy the world. I'll watch your Hawks on the Winter Classic.

Happy New Years Gentlemen! May the Dole Whips flow endlessly and your bacon never burn!!

Now that is a great toast. Happy New Year nemesis.

and are hoping to maybe be in Epcot for 2015 close out.

Now that is a great resolution.

Your credit card company declined your number. I'll have to get that again from you. Mind posting it here for safe keeping? :lmao:

Snow Fett? Boba White? Either way, send her to my house first. :thumbsup2

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hope all had a safe NYE and best wishes that 2015 will be the best year ever.

Still waiting to present the DVC offer. Have spoken to the agent a couple of times and it looks like we will finalize the offer in the next few days.

Off to see what I missed.

And the sh*! keeps coming. I applied for the kids SS#'s back in October. I spent 3 1/2 hours in that office and now they are telling me they have ZERO record of our applications or even me being at the office. I am so peanut butter, Beverly, peanut butter offed I could just scream.

I need these to file our taxes do I can make the down payment on our Disney trip.

I've run out of cuss words for the incompetency of the SS office.

Sorry to hear David. Hopefully they find it quickly and you don't have to go through it again. Just to help out, I said all the cuss words I know in support.

Forgot to update on the dog for those interested. Sailed through surgery and is resting comfortably at the vet. We pick her up tomorrow.

Happy to hear she is doing well, continued prayers.

Good luck! It was the best financially irresponsible decision we ever made, if that helps! :lmao:

I am excellent at making financially irresponsible decisions. I make all the right ones at work so I need to keep it balanced by screwing it up at home.

Pittsburgh is all riled up with the vile rat birds coming to town this week. Ironically no one is actually talking about Baltimore. The fan base is only concerned about Le'Veon Bell's knee. I have not seen an injury watched this closely ever in my life.

DW works this weekend so I had to pass on tickets. I've seen plenty of playoff games including 3 or 4 AFC Championships, so I'm not losing sleep over this one.

I hope everyone is enjoying this semi-slow period as 015 is coning to a close. Prayers for those in need, including our canine friends!

Good luck this weekend. I am selling my tickets for 1/10 as I have other commitments that I cannot avoid. We get this weekend off as the top seed.

I have been to one Superbowl (lost to Bears), several AFC Championships, Red Sox game 6 when they won the title in 2013 and more playoff games than I can count. Its good to live in New England from a sports perspective. Of course the Celtics, Bruins and Sox are not doing so well at this point. We always have the Revolution.:rolleyes1

Morning All

Always good to hear from our time traveling Dads. Glad to see we are in the playoffs next year.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Happy New Years Eve! I want to apologize for my rant last night. I did not intend to dampen the holiday spirit.

Not damp at all. That's what we are here for. Rant away.

Twoje problemy są naszymi problemami , przyjacielu!

Huh?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Happy New Year DISDads!

I'm off until the 14th and we leave for the World on the 4th. Between now and then Christmas has to disappear from our house. Tough job but I'm up to it, (with a little help from the elves).

Prayers for those in need; Praise for those deserving; May your favorite team win, unless they’re playing mine; Disney, Dole Whips & Bacon for All!

That's a pretty nice vacation there sir. I wish that was a possibility, but in the finance department it's hard to take the time at month/quarter/year end. The good part is it's just a quarter end since our year ends in June.

Have a safe and fun trip!

Happy 2015 guys. Hope the year brings you good health, happiness and fortune.

Right back at ya!

Crowds are huge but planning things out helps get through it. Hitting parks at open to me is a must and then taking in the holiday stuff works for us. We did DHS for NYE as the high number of shows fill up the day well and the fireworks are great. MK seems to be to crazy plus no adult beverages.

We had the Dawa one and it hit the spot. We got here Sunday and head home tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Joe or dadof2boys. I was reading a review by Andy and he had mentioned this forum. From what I can tell, I've found the most awesome support group.

I live in North San Diego with my wife and 2 sons, they're 5 and 7. I have NEVER been to "the world", which is not for lack of planning. I am constantly planning that trip. For the last year I have just been running different scenarios with different budgets for when the big day finally comes. We want to wait until the boys are old enough or brave enough to go on a majority of the rides.

We have been annual pass holders to DLR for 15 years. I think that because we have gone so often the boys are kind of over it, which is INSANE! My oldest one is all about the "resort" part of it. He'll stay at the Disneyland Hotel all day everyday, he just isn't that into the parks.

Our next Disneyland trip is scehduled for a one nighter on January 29th. That happens to be my youngests birthday. Anyhow, I've already said a lot. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Morning, men. Back to the daily grind for me. Sort of. I am heading to the office and cutting out at noon to watch Pitt's bowl game. My friend put it best when we were discussing how much vacation we each had left..."I'm going to work so that I don't have to watch the Pitt game."
