Man, this place is quiet.

I've recently installed a new car alarm in my car. Should help cut down on thefts, I think. It would deter me.

My “Saturday” involves getting a cavity filled, an old filling replaced, laundry, taking my mom to the bank, shopping, cooking, then going to work at midnight.

Do I know how to live it up or what???

I’ll be staying at All Stars tomorrow night. Tomorrow is my last day of training and it’s a closing shift. You get two opening shifts and two closing shifts.
Sunday morning i have an opening shift, first one out of training. So instead of attempting to drive back and forth and getting three hours of sleep, it’s just easier staying there.
The new gig is going real well. More to learn but it will come with experience. They just can’t teach you everything in four days. Hit the highlights and the rest you use some common sense and the world keeps turning.

They are all different, I end at 23:15 if all goes well. It’s another 15/20 minutes to your car.
We have a 07:00 and a 08:00 start the next day. I have the 08:00. Which is still another 15/20 to your reporting area from the parking lot.
Before I retired and moved to Florida, I lived one mile from where I worked. I would make it home in six minutes. lol. If the roads were bad, snow and ice, I would walk. lol.
This doesn’t happen often. If it does, you just switch with someone. Being a ojt shift, you can’t trade it. Only happened once before in three years and it was a ojt shift.
