You don't NEED to plan a year in advance if you are okay with taking what is left. Personally, I'm not a fan of dining at the Lunching Pad.She also doesn’t see the need to plan a year or so in advance.
Are you sure you are on hold with Disney. From what I hear the wait is counted in hours, not minutes. Maybe it means 35 HOURS."Your estimated wait time is. 35 minutes."
On hold with Disney and it's just brutal.
After yelling at the phone that I wanted to speak to an agent, I'm on hold. But not just any old hold.
A recorded voice says "Your estimated wait time is. 35 minutes." and repeats that over and over for several iterations. Occasionally a 5-6 second burst of music will ring out and then the recording will begin again.
Beats what it was doing earlier when every few seconds it would ask me if I wanted a call back (press 1) or continue to hold (press 2). When I'd press "2", it would ask if I wanted a call back or continue to hold. "2" <burst of music> "Would you like a call back or continue to..." "2" "Your estimated wait time is 34 minutes"
Put on repeat... for a while there, I was pressing "2" every few seconds.
Down to 20 minutes now...
All in all it was over an hour. Just giving an example. Are you sure you are on hold with Disney. From what I hear the wait is counted in hours, not minutes. Maybe it means 35 HOURS.
It was a bit more, but… accomplished exactly nothing. Will call again tomorrow.B very happy it is only 35 minutes.
Wait! What? Disney IT actually worked??????Morning, gents.
So... last night, around 10pm, I decided once more to try MDE and see if I could get anything done.
Lo and behold... the trick seems to be to do things when there's no traffic on the website. What I couldn't do with being on hold for over an hour yesterday, I did in 5 minutes online. Lesson learned.
I know. I was stunned.Wait! What? Disney IT actually worked??????
Guess I better go party like it's 1999. The apocalypse is starting.
Where's the fun in that?Thinking if you want to avoid long wait time online or calling Disney… and still go to Disney, is ….
… use a TA![]()
Long way to hump. How are you supposed to do that in 2 minutes?Morning

I put a sad emoji because it's sad, but true.I know. I was stunned.
I guess their IT works as long as there isn't more than 3 people trying to access the server.
I did manage to find a current photo of Disney's server and it looks legit. No idea why they're having issues.

Well, to be fair, I really thought you were going to say you've been hearing the 35 minute wait spiel repeatedly for the last 2 hours.Down to 20 minutes now...
And just chalk that up as one of the many reasons why I just can't get excited about planning another trip to the mouse.Morning, gents.

That occurred to me as well the first time I heard the wait time.Well, to be fair, I really thought you were going to say you've been hearing the 35 minute wait spiel repeatedly for the last 2 hours.
It does require a certain amount of… tenacity. And just chalk that up as one of the many reasons why I just can't get excited about planning another trip to the mouse.
Sure, you go with tenacity; I'll go with insanity. Maybe a little:Yeah, let’s use tenacity.
Good luck with the car shopping. I hear that Ferrari makes a decent runaround.Sure, you go with tenacity; I'll go with insanity. Maybe a little:

Since it went so well a couple of weeks ago, we are doing it again - we are going car shopping for The Kid this evening. In addition to the gently used kidney for sale, I have a liver going for a good price.
If you drink like some.of the dads, your liver is no good here.I have a liver going for a good price
My dream car. Oh, what I could do on the autobahn. Mmmmmmm.I hear that Ferrari makes a decent runaround.
