Been a little over 3 weeks since I was in the shop and I have put the walker away and am using a cane when I go for longer walks, around the house I walk unassisted. Also the incision is almost completely healed. Thanks for asking.

I just have to finish cleaning the pool, go grocery shopping, cook dinner for later and go to work until 11pm... But then I can relax and enjoy the day!

Quiet day...church, cleared some brush, weeded the garden, cleaned the kitchen and sprayed some research plots.

Rain hit just after I finished spraying so that was frustrating especially as I could see where it wasn't raining on the other side of the hollar less than 500 yards away. Turning out to be a wet summer but I knew it would be because we have the irrigation system repaired for the first time in several years. A more effective long term solution to drought than washing the car, that is only good for a quick shower.

It's far worse than I expected. So, today HAS to be a pool day. I'm ok with that, as my dds blow me off to hang with BIL's dds. We have to stay at pool ALL DAY, or until 4:00 PM when BIL decides pool day is over and everyone is going out to eat with FIL paying. Yes, BIL tells FIL that FIL is paying. I go back to room, shower, and go to the bar to drink and watch Fifa cup. FIL, BIL, & DW then learn they must print out tickets at Cabana Bay Resort to go to Universal & IOA. Finally, we catch bus to City Walk. BIL goes the wrong direction. After we turnaround and double back, we go to bubba Gump's shrimp, where DW's Landry Membership gets us to front of line & 15 min wait. Our group gets split into two groups of 6, with 5 girls under 14 going to sit and one table with me. On way back from dinner, BIL announces that everyone needs to be at bus stop at 7:30 AM tomorrow.

BIL won't make reservations, won't learn about tickets, won't learn directions, WON'T STAND UP & GIVE A SEAT ON A BUS TO WOMEN OR CHILDREN DESPITE BEING HEALTHY, but gets to make all decisions for vacation. At least the only cost so far was my bar tab. Will you cover my bail?

Thanks guys. I tried to multiquote, but my phone isn't formatting correctly in Universal WiFi mode. I even offered to buy him a beer at the bar, just the two of us and my money to talk, and he refused. We get there early in AM, and he wants everyone to travel as a large group so that we can provide free childcare so he and his wife can go on rides. We went to eat after noon, and while we were all eating, he, SIL, and their infant son left the other children with us and FIL to go ride an easy ride with the baby. They didn't say anything, just got up and left.

I guess that was last straw for FIL. We finished lunch at Krusty Burger, rode the Simpson ride, and the he and his girlfriend went back to the resort. We were able to re-unite and return his other kids, and then the four of us went and did our thing. I don't look for this to get better before our trip ends, so I'll stop there and just #fugataboutit.
