OK, seriously. I was gone for hours and no one is posting. Everyone must be Christmas shopping.

I haven't started shopping yet. DW and I did take care of the big gifts for the dds but that's it.

The wife is never a good idea when you are planning to do something embarrassing, when they are laughing and egging you on it might be time to reconsider your decision. Lol

On the other hand ....

I don't know if that is a fool proof method.... she was the one taking the pictures and laughing her butt off remember?

That's when you know the women are keepers - they acknowledge and encourage our bad behaviors.

If you guys were here I'd definitely share them with you both.

My late cousin used to play Dungeons & Dragons (yes, D&D and he was 40 years old) with some of his friends and they each would bring a 6 pack of different local micro brews (apparently there were many where he lived in Colorado). Everyone got to try a bunch of different brews.

We tried doing a beer exchange at work, but we just couldn't get it to work with people's schedules. So I'm just going to buy some seasonal brews for me.

Speaking of Christmas shopping- I should probably start that soon.

I haven't started shopping yet. DW and I did take care of the big gifts for the dds but that's it.

DW takes care of 99% of the shopping for the DDs. We bought a new dishwasher as our big ticket Christmas gift. I bought her an ornament from the Emporium when we were there in November.

I need to give my wife some props for that. She's all over shopping. And moving that d*** elf around.
I did automate our Christmas card address list so that she didn't have to write out 100 addresses, so that's a nice contribution in my eyes. AND I'll be cooking the Christmas meal.

Evening...Christmas madness is in full form, tomorrow should be fun. I will admit, it wasn't a banner day for me, my mood was off. Declined to partake in the Pot luck luncheon, but took a quiet lunch away from the store which did wonders. It gets better after the first year, right?

On the plus, DW got her bonus, which will go towards booking our August trip to the Mouse next month !

I need to get some beer goblets before I crack open the bottles.

Sweet, I hope our buyers give it a look for next year, they need to lay off all the stouts and porters lately...oversaturated

Morning all. The DW and dds are going out shopping this AM. The money tree is looking bare. The good news is that I will be planted on the couch all day with soccer (Premier League) and UCLA @ UK in the afternoon. Is there also a NFL game tonite? I might grow into the couch by the end of day.

I need to give my wife some props for that. She's all over shopping. And moving that d*** elf around.

We never did that elf thing, and now we don't need to. I'm ready to not spend money on Gift anymore, but I am overruled. As for Christmas dinner, I'm stuck in divorce outlaw world which means lots of driving to other's houses.

Funny thing about our elf, DD decided that she didn't want the elf to move to different places every night because she is concerned that she may end up somewhere that someone could accidentally touch her.

I also like their Warlock beer. Very tasty. Although I have to admit that it's been a LONG time since I haven't tried a beer that I don't like. You noted store in your post. What type? In Pennsylvania we just legalized selling beer in grocery stores. We've always had to go to a beer distributor. And liquor stores are run by the state.

Morning, Norm. Sounds like an excellent day of sports viewing. That's my tomorrow. I'll head to Church at 8am and then i'm going to the Steelers-Chiefs game with 2 of my buddies. When the weather is cold like this we move our tailgating indoors and will pre-game at a place called the Beer Market. LOADS of different beers and a plethora on tap.

The stupid elf...we did it bc of peer pressure. I don't think that elf influences kids' behavor in the least. my kids are pretty darn good, the only issue that I have with them is when they fight with each other. Everyone else thinks that they are little angels.

You had to be reminded to make bacon? You must be sick. Better quarantine yourself infront of the TV until bowl season is over. You know just to be safe.

0-2. Premier League was just highlights. UK was so dominant it wasn't a game. I just hope the NFL game is decent tonite.

It is early for the bowl games to be starting, but there should be some good ones is year.
