And, made it to Wednesday. It's still a snowpocalypse here. It sucks just going to work and home. I'm hoping this year of COVID lockdowns and now freezing cold will encourage DW to get that Florida home.

Exactly why I don’t do any social media except for here. At least I didn’t tell the person I have shot a squirrel and grilled it up

I have FB & Disboards. I had Twitter, but deleted my account years ago. I tried MeWe, and will probably just delete that account soon enough.

While I believe strongly about the 2nd ammendment (support), I don't think WDW would be a good place. I'd be tempted to try some new game on the safari or totally obliterate the targets in BLY. Might even take out a few stormtroopers on RotR.

I'm all for guns, and keep one in my truck. But, I don't carry inside the grocery store or anywhere else. I've always felt safe at Disney - stormtroopers, Buzz Light Year, and pirates included.

Never had a professional massage. Always say I'll do it eventually. DW doesn't do a spa day, so I'll have to go solo at WDW I guess.

Texas has rolling blackouts due to the the storm that blew through the state. Apparently it froze al the wind turbines...I can't help but laugh at that.

Yeah, I saw a meme that showed a helicopter flying in the air, de-icing a wind turbine. The caption was something like fossil fuels, using fossil fuels, to de-ice a frozen green machine made by fossil fuels.

I'm all for renewable energy. And, I'd probably buy a solar panel for my next home or this one re-model. But to suggest we all return to the stone age, raise taxes, and/ or cut pipeline jobs, while millionaires keep their private island homes and private jets to fly around on is just dumb woke culture.

Afternoon Dads! Been a few days since stopping buy. Been crazy with the weather and impacts on work / distributions closing for a couple of days and then only 25% of team could make it in today. Had our downstairs heat go out Sunday night which got fixed today - the service guy has been great but had trouble getting the parts places to be open with the weather. All fixed this morning so back to normal. More snow and ice for tonight so it's rinse / repeat this week with two pretty significant winter storms over only 5 days. Thanks for the Bday wishes as well.

No problems. He used DW's Tuscon so that was a bit better than his old Kia Rio. Just got a message from her though, said he didn't put any gas in it after using it for two days in storms. LOL

That's good, well, except for the gas part. Bad on him for not refueling the car.

I wish I liked massages but I can never get comfortable something about laying facedown on a table.

Nope, sorry...any benefits are far outweighed by the detriments.

The privacy and employers looking at your FB posts, and big tech censorship are all big concerns for me. This is why I now no longer post very much on my own page and don't post very often on others. And the censorship thing irritates the crap out of me.

I guess the thing I don't get is that those who feel they are entitled to rant or name call, even when they are proven wrong, just stay on their artificially inflated ego of self-righteousness. But, unity. Woke culture unite.

I'm not surprised at the big tech censor companies. I mean, Confederate statues are causing rascism but allowing the WAP song promotes healthy culture towards women. Big tech can shut down communication they don't like, yet, still can't figure out how to track or stop the dissemination of child pornography. You're only targeted if a threat, and I know I'm not a threat.
