Spent most of the day prepping for the cold tonight. -50F with the wind chill. Have blankets covering all the external doors and all the windows covered. Next week when is back in the 30s will be shorts and flip flops weather!

Another cold one this morning. -36F/-38C. But luckily, only light wind so only feels like -60F/-51C.
Supposed to have a break in the weather in a couple days though, with temps climbing all week.

I'll see if DD's car starts this morning. She's pretty sure that the plug got knocked off accidentally the night before she couldn't start it. Either way, I'll be installing her battery blanket today. Hopefully it'll start, but we'll see.

I'm absolutely loving the job, and even more so, the pay. I've never been paid this much before, and that's before the pension check. The road to get here over these past 6 months has been a whirlwind. And, who would have figured my cancelled conspiracy @$$ would have made it thru the background checks. It's also a lot of work, and hopefully, I can manage long enough to save up enough for whatever those final dreams are.

Morning, guy! Wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day...but in a manly sort of way. Had a great day yesterday. Took the DD out for some sledding and had a blast. As a result of this, I was beat and missed out on the zoom chat last night. Next weekend I'll chat. Don't have much today except spending the day with the family.
