If it's a jumbo, then there is at least a possibility of the Pilot putting the spurs to the engines and gaining enough altitude to miss us.

Actually... I looked at both Saturn and Jupiter through my telescope about a month ago... so I liked my experience better too.

Meeting the FIL in a fire station car park halfway between us both to give them their presents for Xmas day and get ours and the kids. Ho Ho ho.

GENTS!!!!! What's up? Today is officially Christmas Eve, Eve....are you ready for Christmas? I'm not....not even close. And, to be honest, I won't be ready for Christmas. If it wasn't for my DW getting things done I'd be screwed this year. Well...that's it. Have fun.

And, we made it to Tuesday. The days will now start getting longer, which means the light is coming. Let's hope that light isn't from a 2021 oncoming train.

Sadly, that's my downfall. I've worked with many that just didn't care at all. Some were canned. Others were promoted, which made it even worse.

I don't know how people can go into a job and not care. You may not care about the job, but at least care about doing a good job. I can't operate like that. I have to do a good job wherever I go.

My favorite part of Star Wars was always the jedi storyline. I don't care either way about the Skywalker space drama, although the Vader intro at Star Tours is my favorite. I thought it was terrific when the Jedi arrive at the beginning of the Phantom Menace movie. I hope a spinoff will do something similar.

Dead Poets Society was actually filmed at a private school in Delaware less than 10 minutes from where I live. The Everett Theater (part of the climax) is a real place, in Middletown, DE. Been there for shows several times.

Happy Wednesday. I gave myself a great present and have re-retired. I've realized that chasing a job for $ isn't working for me. I know what I'm looking for, or at least what I'm not looking for, and just plan to wait for it.

That was terrific. And, I think that storyline could be developed further in the series than just the opening movie sequence. It's been great with Mandalorian, and even better with the jedi lead.

This year of COVID and cancel culture sure has taken its toll on me. You can't disagree with the narrative. I've not seen so much hate or division before. It doesn't feel like Christmas.

I don't know how people can go into a job and not care. You may not care about the job, but at least care about doing a good job. I can't operate like that. I have to do a good job wherever I go.

But they certainly seem to be the ones who thrive. I'm not sure how to change to get there, but I sometimes wish I didn't care as much.
