As for impending trip...not thrilled, but since I took my son and his boys, I can't say no...wouldn't be right. Good thing is after DD and DGSs, I only have one kid left that hasn't been and he's not likely to ask, so 2020 and beyond should be non-WDW and/or points for rent years. Part of me is hoping she changes her mind, but on the other hand, I'd rather be done with it. Not that I won't enjoy her and the boys, it's just giving the excessively greedy mouse more of my money.

Nah, it's kinda my own fault. I opened pandora's box when I took my older son, DIL and grandsons last year (before my disdain/dis-taste for Disney started). It's only fair I take her and her boys. I can try to look at alternative vacations, but I think she's got Disney on the brain more so for the boys than her, but also possibly for her as well.

She's starting a year of general studies but focusing on science and psychology. She's looking at behavioural neuroscience as an undergrad degree (I had never heard of it before) with high and lofty plans to go into medicine.

I've told mine that I may have enough money to help for the 4 years. If they are seeking anything longer than that, they need to look at the military or work/ study agreement as I ain't signing for any loans.

Happy double Monday everyone. Welcome back to the grind for those lucky enough to have been off yesterday. Why does it seem like even though the office was closed the amount of work I was expected to do for that day is still there and it has to be done today on top of today's work? i should have worked both jobs yesterday not just 1.

Sat on my butt and went to Red Lobster for all you can eat shrimp courtesy FIL for anniversary dinner. Winning.

I'm married to one. Finding her at engineering school helped (although it's by no means a guarantee).

I recently bought her a new pendant. First piece of jewelry I'd bought for her since 2001.

(For comparison, I had a coworker whose wife decided that, now that they both had good jobs, she wanted a ring upgrade - he'd proposed as a grad student when two months salary would buy a little chip. Now he was a software developer and she was a business professor. He was considering what expensive hobby he should take up to spend equivalent money - we suggested classic cars and sports photography.)

Fall must be close by, everyone is back in school and I moved away from the summer dress code at the office. Decided that if it is time to dress up a bit more I need to rock some new Disney socks.

Rare breed! Engineering huh... Wish i had known that years ago.. of course when i was in Engineering school, you could count the number of females in your class without any hands.. ZERO!

My wife is a flight attendant, guess which side of the tracks she falls on;
a. high maintenance
b. low maintenance
c. no maintenance (ha, as if that one exists!)
