Top O the Mornin Dads! Hope all in the states are enjoying the long weekend.
As my grandmother said, "Getting old isn't for sissies". Neither is the alternative.Take care of yourself. People depend on you.
Glad to hear you are feeling better , hope everything is all good when you go to the Dr.:goodvibes
Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Happy Labor or Labour Day Monday. Up early, went for a walk, heading to Mass, and FIL taking us to dinner tonight for our anniversary. So far, it's been a nice relaxing weekend.

Congrats! SWMBO has another 7 years to go before she can make that claim.

.

Thanks Shawn. I still have another year to go as I lived at home the first year of college.

Congratulations! Norm and many moreparty:

Thanks Ron. DW and I are looking forward to returning to Disneyworld without children in four more years the week of Labor Day just like our honeymoon.

W? DW and I camped early on in our marriage, not at WDW, but I was good with the tent and she wanted the RV - roughing it with electricity and water hookups. :lmao: Now, it's only hotel stays.
Yeah it’s just hotel stays for me too. I would love to try camping at Fort Wilderness but it won’t happen.

Hope you don't get a surprise 9 months from now. :scared1: That will continue to be one of my fears for the next few years. :sad2:
You got that right!

Guilty :ssst:. Glad it worked out for you:thumbsup2, just wondering if you signed the book, and if you saw what page you were on:confused3, We were on page 18 at the end of May, with book starting Jan 1st, that was less then 600 people to date, IMO it is something way under the radar:scratchin.
I did sign the book but didn’t think to check the page. It seemed like something that doesn’t happen too often

I've heard that you need to have a camper at Fort Wilderness as that area isn't great for tent camping with all the bugs and snakes.

Sounds like a Dad with a daughter problem to me.
;)

Laws must be different in Canada. It becomes a Dad with a son problem of 18 years of child support, wage garnishment, visitation fights, etc.

Well that would depend on the dad and the son.

;)

Morning chaps from a sunny London. Got back midnight last night, after getting to Rome airport in what felt like a real life version of Crazy Taxi. This is a very weird feeling, not having a major dose of jet lag. We've given the kids a tech day today, we have a ton of stuff to do and they go back to school tomorrow. I'll try and put some photos up later.
Enjoy your 4 day week.

Feeling left out??? I'm freaking working!!!!
8 hours this morning and then 8 hours tonight.
I may skip any Labour Day celebrations.
 sorry man.
We make them lighter by dropping the "u". :duck:
But you've made more work by having to spell it again, because it's wrong. ;)

I read this quickly and though, "Oh Norm's off to Boston". Which is particularly bad as I was in the Catholic Capital of the Universe only yesterday. The religious bits clearly didn't rub off on me.

If she takes the meatball, don't marry her. High maintenance avoidance 101.
Then negated the benefit of the hike by eating fried chicken and donuts for lunch
Let's face it buddy, you were gonna have the fried chicken anyway. So you just earned yourself a free pass.
Italy is near the top of my travel bucket list
It's fantastic. If you ever get there, let me know, and I'll give you my "Ron notes" of restaurants and cool stuff.
I figured it's her turn. So, I don't know when yet, but <sigh> will have to deal with the idiotic FP system again
A small price to pay for another vacation, no? Congrats on the extra trip.
DW said that she has now lived with me longer than anyone else.
I hope you told her that this is the matrimonial equivalent of hitting all six numbers two weeks in a row?

Have a great Tuesday fellas, and may your attraction lines be short, and your buffets be fresh.

Home safe. Welcome back.

I've been in St. Peter's before, although its been years. Glad you all had a good trip minus the taxi.

As for the years of marriage, I think it is and she brought it up, so i guess so. We have been married now almost the longest in her family, which includes grandparents, 3 aunts, 5 cousins & brother each on both her parents' sides. It would be both sets of grandparents, 1 aunt, 1 cousin, and then us.
