If you guys have some time to listen to the latest DisDads Podcast - do it! Great banter between Dave, Ryan, Kevin, and Aaron.

And it's about disney snacks! What's not to like??

Make sure you listen all the way till the end. :rotfl2:

It was a good one... And I love the ending. I think it should be the new opening and ending for every DisDads podcast ever.

Disney just announced the replacement for Kouzzina. It is Italian and I for one am looking forward to it. I see a pre marathon carb loading come January. DD needs it to run, I just like to carb load.

Thanks guys for your comments on my previous post. She is having a good time and learning a lot. Better than working in a mall, just she isn't making money. Today was thawing fish previously taken from reefs, classifying them and preserving them. Tomorrow is shark tagging day but with the number of kids on the boat, she probably won't get to do much other than supervising the kids.

Seeing these kids that have less than nothing is a good experience for her. I have also tried to instill helping others and appreciating what we have in the kid.

Sounds like a wonderful experience for her. That's awesome.

Maybe it will make her rethink her need to shiv people for no reason? :confused3

No, it doesn't affect her use of a shiv.

Here's my own two videos taken from the grandstand:...

Very cool. I was hoping for something along the lines of the chariot race in Ben Hur. What no spikes sticking out of the wheel hub?

When we have large parties, we rent a small steam table to keep things warm. They work really well and with the damp heat will keep the food warm and will not dry out. Not exactly sure how the steam gets in there, but it does. We have a place close that rents catering equipment. I think it was like $30 for the day and we had to picket up.

Sounds like a great party. Not sure I'll be in the area, but if for some reason we are I'll be sure to stop by.

Good idea. There's a rental place that I've used a million times for various equipment but never thought about it for the party supplies!

Like you, I usually stay on the grill and cook the meat in batches so that there is not enough time for it to get really cold. I usually just use a dish with aluminum foil on top. If necessary, just put the dish in the oven to reheat a little without drying it it.

Aluminum foil is magical in the way it retains heat! I'll get ground meat with a higher fat content to help keep them from drying out, too.

Apolgies for the double post. There was an error when I drafted the first one. I didn't think it landed.

A duplicate quote...followed by an explanatory third quote. Hmmm...me thinks that you knew exactly what you were doing. :scratchin

MLB All-Star Game. Anyone else watching?

It has been a long time since I posted. Life is still nuts between the restaurant and some home renos.
Hope everyone is doing well!!

Good to hear from you again. I guess business is good, which is a good thing. Stop by when you can.

hub?

Saw it on the Boardwalk thread. Not really that excited about it. Via Napoli has the great pizza in Epcot. And, I know the pizza window isn't all that great, but it is cool to have a slice on the Boardwalk. But, not sure what better options would work there. A QS sitting for Boardwalk Bakery would be cool, and expand the sandwich options.

Hey guys I have been busy trying to get that Polynesian Village Vibe going here at the Hill Estate. I thought I would share some pictures with you. Enjoy.

The Tonga Cafe

My tropical garden in zone 5 outside of Detroit.

My tribute to the now removed waterfall in the great ceremonial house.

Of course it is not complete without Lizards!

And for Philly sports fans so are August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, and June.

LOL

Hey, how's your baseball team doing this year?

I like it as well. I was never interested in trying the other place.

The new place does seem similar to Via Napoli. But Via Napoli is awesome, so I don't mind if we get more places like that. :thumbsup2

Great pictures. Still need to add the fire pit, lilakoi juice, and a lapu lapu.
