Yep, great ride with incredible audio animatronics. A bit on the "short side" in length of ride. We did not however ride it at night which would probably be really cool. Next trip.
Looks like a great trip, I'm hoping Mine train is a MNSSHP ride if not gotta get in at 4 and ride it before our 5pm ressie.

Any of you guys ride the Seven Dwarf's Mine Train yet? I'm all sorts of fired up for that.

We rode it 2x a few weeks ago. A late afternoon (daylight) ride and then a later, night time ride. Both times were great. Excellent, smooth ride. The swaying of the train cars is neat.

The night time ride added a lot, just fun to be on the train with New Fantasyland whizzing by with all the lights. Made it a bit more "thrill-ride". Don't get me wrong, the day time ride was great too. It is pretty neat to have the train slow down to go into the mine. The AA's are great! Really amazing attention to detail, so many beautiful colors (DD was pretending to gather all the gems), the lighting effects are superb.

One last tip, be sure to look very carerfully at the end of the ride at the cottage. There's some things in there (and outside there) that I missed, but DD spotted (she hasn't let me hear the end of it yet - at 5 everything is a contest for her now).

Enjoy it!

Sounds cool. We are staying at BLT, so we'll be spending ample time at MK. I'll mkae sure we put aside some time for an evening ride!

I guess so. I am deploying for 6 months. DW and DS are moving in with her parents. We have some serious moving to do between now and when I leave.

TY for what you do. Good luck and Godspeed!

Well done, well maybe not the Starbucks part but everything else.

Well, it was 10:00 AM. Where else could we go?

Nicely done but what no Bourbon Bar?.

I don't know if they were serving the public yet at 10:00 AM or if Tony was willing to drive all over the rest of KY loaded on bourbon. I am always ready to go to the bourbon bar, especially if you're buying,

Well done men!

That's a good picture there Men! Good Job! :thumbsup2

Well done!

Thanks guys.

!

Yeah, BLT is my favorite resort. Good to see you back on the DisBoards.

Got back from Key Largo yesterday. Very pleasurable trip with good friends. We also mapped out our plans for the trip to Belize next April. The Brit and I were the only ones going but the Pirate Princess got added along with the couple we dove with this weekend..

I didn't realize you were taking me to Belize next April, but glad to hear our pans have been mapped. I'll start packing now. :lmao:
Great pictures yet again.

It’s not impossible. Don’t know that I’d be betting folk’s lives on it.
A tie in the other Group-G game would be a very nice thing though.

Agreed. Germany rolled Portugal, but they were down a player. Maybe there's hope.

Top 'O the day to yas. Trust all had a good weekend and let's hope the U.S. can advance to the next round after that heart breaker last night. For those of us who have been part of youth soccer the men's team moving on would be a huge step for U.S. soccer. As a former player, youth coach and youth club administrator I would love nothing more that to see the game grow. For those that don't enjoy the game, and I get it, I think it is because it is the one game that a team can dominate play and loose - Ghana actually outplayed the U.S. and lost. 90% of the time in the major U.S. sports if you dominate play, win time of possession, have more scoring chances, etc ya win.

Agreed. Still, until there is more substantial $ in soccer, football and basketball will still draw the athletes in USA. Imagine players the size, speed, & strength of LeBron James, Calvin Johnson, and Colin Kaepernick handling the soccer ball with the same skill as Messi.

I hear ya about the best U.S. athletes but it is way better than say 20 years ago. Calvin Johnson as your keeper, Lebron as at center D with Kaepernick at center Mid.

Wow, my 1500th post. I want to thank all of you. If you all didn't accept that I refuse to multiquote and that I notoriously pad my posts, I wouldn't have gotten here.

Who wants to go to the World? Barry is buying!

Woohoo! Take me! Take me!

Nice post for 1500.

Congratulations on your accomplishment. And thank you for sharing your recipe for success.

Looking for some advice. When we head down to WDW in November, there are 2 other families heading down at the same time. The dads and I are rabid Steelers fans. It just so happens that the Steelers are playing the dreaded Ravens. I hope to be taunting Randall around 11:30 PM ET that night.

We are going to be dining at Ohana at 6:30. I was curious if anyone has stayed at the Tiki Bar to watch a game. I can of course watch the game at my resort (BLT) since it's a Sunday night game and obviously televised, so I have options.

I'd normally head to the ESPN Zone but it's not worth my time to trek over there for an 8:30 game.

Tony & Norm - nice job on the meetup. I hope you enjoyed your mocha tall grande nonfat half calf venti espresso caramel frap whip with sprinkles.

On the Benwood wreck. The group of minnows are called a bait ball and of course the bigger fish are very active there and I might add, very full.

Did they start forming shapes in the ocean to lead you to you lost son?

You probably shouldn't say to her, "You killed my father. Prepare to die," though.
Then what's the point?!?

Who's this "Barry" you speak of? You know another one?:confused3

I've watched bits of some games there waiting for reservations, but its not a very ideal spot - the TV is right at the edge of the bar/waiting area, so it's pretty loud with lots of people running around. Not sure how it will be with the all the construction going on there in the Great Ceremonial House.

There's nothing wrong with a coffee meet up, well the sprinkles are a bit much but to each their own, Norm is saving the beer and bourbon for Fridays meet up.

Morning Guys, welcome to Tuesday.

CJ...has this ever happened to any divers you know? ;)

Good morning!

Here is the kid and our friend Lory along with an instructor getting ready to transplant some of the harvested corals on the reef
For a summer job for a college kid, she sure has it rough, doesn't she? :lmao:

Looks like a fun time. I'm glad you were able to dive with her and take some of the coral restoration in first hand. I think that would be very interesting to see.

Congrats on 1500! I'm in! I'd be happy to spend Barry's money!

Can somebody give me the English interpretation of whatever this is??? :faint:
