We did that at Christmas last year. I had the nerf gun with the 6 shot clip, and I bought the dds a gun with the six loading revolver type. They looked happy when they opened their stockings and saw the nerf guns, but not so much when I ambushed them with mine underneath the couch.



Looks like you might be off the hook. The newly revised newly revised new plan is to go to BWV for 3 nights and then onto VBR.

The kids also love building forts out of any furniture that isn't bolted down- which is everything. I see some good battles coming up.

Also, you need a ticker.

In addition to Father's Day on Sunday, it's also my birthday (I know.....I get screwed out of 2 gifts this year....). DW says we're going "out" tomorrow night without the kids....I dunno where..

HE DID! I didn't see it until yesterday. It's like a rifle with a 10-round clip! Mine has to be reloaded after every shot. His gun breaks down to pistol-size for close quarters combat.

Sounds like someone's bringing a knife to a gunfight.

My daddy/daughter trip has gone from Deluxe, to Moderate, to Value. DD likes the Ariel rooms at Art of Animation. Anybody stay there before? I'm not a fan of how far it is from everything and the fact that the Ariel rooms are a looong way from the buses. However, I am a fan of the price. With a Halloween Party, BBB, and Wild Africa Trek I suppose something had to give.

They need to bring back the Fire Roasted Taco Sauce again....that stuff was awesome!

I'm enjoying my Disney Parks Blend Joffrey's coffee this morning and trying to transport myself to WDW through my taste buds.

Looking forward to this weekend....I don't have to work!!!

In addition to Father's Day on Sunday, it's also my birthday (I know.....I get screwed out of 2 gifts this year....). DW says we're going "out" tomorrow night without the kids....I dunno where...frankly I don't care. I'm looking forward to whatever she has planned. It's nice being on the non-planning end for a change as the planning usually falls on my lap.

And Sunday should be a great day as well...heading to my parents for some kind of cook-out where many beverages will be had!

Well Happy Birthday (I'm sure to forget by Sunday). Sounds like a pretty good weekend. We open our Men's softball season tomorrow if the rain stops in time. DS has a baseball double header on Sunday so no big plans other than watching baseball.

My daddy/daughter trip has gone from Deluxe, to Moderate, to Value. DD likes the Ariel rooms at Art of Animation. Anybody stay there before? Nooooooo. As stated, at least you save the expense. We went the other way and are at CR, TP view for our daddy/daughter trip. We did not, but heard from friends that the LM rooms are pretty far away from food and main building. They loved the room and the pools though so that will make up for the walk. And lets face it.....A little extra walking is probably in all our best interests. Have fun getting the plans finished.

The only exception to that is when you have a 14 year old with enough skill to make you run back and forth across the court for an hour and a half. Unfortunately soccer is a no-no with the repaired knee. Basketball is still a go, but a lot slower right now.

Morning. It's Friday!! Just need to get through tonight and it's weekend time. Oldest heads to Guides Camp this weekend, so tomorrow will be all about the youngest. She wants to head to the Ripley's Aquarium, and DW is renewing our pool passes tonight, and the city's pool season just happens to open tomorrow as well, so we might surprise her with that afterwards.

Looking more forward to next weekend though. We have a two night surprise planned for the girls at Great Wolf Lodge planned since there's no Disney trip this year, then I have a Beer workshop to attend, so a three-day work week.

You know, despite being larger then the av-er-age bear, I am on my feet all day at work, and really don't mind the walk. I point out to DW that you spend all day walkig at the parks, what's an extra 5-10 minutes?

Port Huron's White Castle closed down recently. DW is still rejoicing.

The nearest one to me is about an hour away....needless to say, it's been years since I've had any. On occasion, when we have to trade with another dealer for a car, we'll check if there are any White Castles nearby and have them bring back a case of sliders! I actually quite enjoy them, but couldn't eat them on any regular basis.

Once a year was all I'd ask for, and I'd win, mainly cause her Dad usually crossed over with us and loves it. I perfected the art of getting what I want from DW by using her own parents against her.

Been there, done that. IT... IS... FAR!!! But if you drive, you can park close. After our last trip last weekend, we will be renting cars from now on!

My kids love when I bring it out and shoot them. It sounds cruel, but my son will actually bring it to me and start running and laughing then help me reload. (I haven't armed them yet, but we all have fun with the target practice.)
