‘Morning all… Pretty day out there; I believe I’ll take the afternoon off of work… So I can go home and work. Ehhh, could be worse. They were all half-lit. Pretty much everyone started the day with hard cider then moved to beer or rum as the afternoon wore on into the evenings. You needed the alcohol to kill of the bugs in the water, drinking that straight out of the well would kill you. Looks and sound like much fun was had. Continue on. Thanks… That’s 52 down; wonder if I can pull off 52 more. Perfect! Absolutely perfect.

We had rain last night and this AM. The air had that cool, crisp feel. I do enjoy that part.

Hawks game last night was intense. The Wild kept on coming and Crow kept denying. I felt bad for Mike Yeo during the post game press conference. He's done a great job with his team but they couldn't overcome the resilency of Crawford and the Blackhawks.

Oh, and on the Toews vs. Crosby, I'll take Captain Serious over Captain Cry-Baby any day.

Hope all are well. Prayers for those in need, praise for those deserving, bacon for all.

Finale?

Yup. Thought it was pretty good. Both DS and I laughed at the end when Coulson vaporized Garrett and yelled "found it". Of course everyone's first thought was that Garrett was basically going to be indestructible. I like how they made sure there were no rumors about him returning. Also like that the humor they added brought back the comic book element.

Looking forward to next season. Would have preferred Fitz to kick the bucket. Always helps to have a "good guy" die occasionally to keep things interesting.

SHIELD finale? I have watched about 1 and a half episodes. I didn't get started in time and didn't want to jump in in the middle. I'll wait for the dvd and get caught up in time for season 2. I watched the trailer for "Gotham" the other day. I'm looking forward to that.

Minnesota will be a tough out next year. I'd like to see us add a bruiser to keep people from pushing Kaner around. A Probert or Grimson type would be nice.

Spent the day getting a new system put up in the hops yard. I had a high tensile wire for the top wire, but switched that out for aircraft cable on a boat winch. I am thinking it should really cut down on the time requirements for the harvest and tying of trellis lines.
