I haven't committed to anything yet. You running in 2015?

I'm not sure but hoping to. We are going in Oct and I'll be doing the ToT 10 miler. Our trip will be long enough that going to an AP will make sense then I just need the go ahead from DW for another solo trip. If i do it will be for the half again. I'm probably targeting 2018 for my full.

I think the only real commitment at this point is Carl's commitment to getting his face painted. See the thread about this... :thumbsup2

Meteorological winter is officially over and had the first crocus up in the yard today! Stupid plant. It looks like it will get hit with about 1/2" of ice followed by 2"-4" of sleet and snow tomorrow. Can I call for an extraction to someplace warm? :sad2:

At least the little tax deductions did well at their Junior Bible Quizzing meet today and there are only 28 more days left. :cool1: Unless of course they do well at State and have to go to the regional.:scared: Would it be wrong to hope they don't do well? :confused3 :lmao:

Morning guys. Headed to the doc this morning. I think I may have a pinched nerve in my shoulder and it has been causing alot of pain for the last few weeks. Yesterday it started tingling like it was asleep on my drive home from up north. Idon't have time to be breaking down :confused3
Demarcus Ware is having surgery for the same thing. Just play it off like a football injury

Happy Friday guys!

Wasn't happy with my weight, so I guess I know what I am giving up for Lent :(
I give up religion for lent, that way I eat what I want and ask for forgiveness after easter

It was a crazy few days. Andriana was complaining about her eyesight and a few other things going on, which prompted a visit to the ER on Friday. I left Sunday morning and was here in time to see the specialist Monday at noon. More tests Monday and a call Wednesday from the doctor to get her back to the ER. Spent Wednesday night and part of Thursday at the hospital. We both crashed when we made it back to the hotel.

They are not sure what is causing the problems but the MRI ruled out a tumor. She starts steroid treatment tonight and will be following up with a doctor in Miami next week. More tests to narrow it down. I will be driving back Sunday, hopefully ahead of an incoming storm.

The weather here is nuts. It was 9 degrees last night but it might break freezing tomorrow. Not a lot of new snow which is good but why anyone would live up here is beyond me.

She is in good spirits and I have calmed down a bit. I will send more info when we know anything.

Other that that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
Hope they figure it out soon and get her healed up. Prayers.

Jim wish we could meet up again this August my daughter is still terrified of characters bit is slightly less shy. She may have actually come out from under the table this year. Maybe 2015.
I am actually up to that day on my trip report. I might finish before my next trip

Hope all had a great Saturday. Watching Hawks / penguins outdoors at Soldier Field, how cool is this with the snow. I know it makes it tough for great hockey but gotta love 61,000 Hawks fans and the National Anthem. Hawks just scored for 1-0 lead so getting better by the minute. Enjoy Sunday guys.

Hope Everyone had a good day!

Basketball day for us.

This morning DS and team took down the #1 team in our league in our last game of the regular season 51-48. We lost to this team the last two seasons by more than 30 points.

Afternoon was DD scoring a team high 10 points and 7 rebounds on the way to claiming the #1 seed entering the playoffs. They moved us up from the 5th grade into the 6th grade division for playoffs.:thumbsup2 Guess I'm doing something right. And yes CJ, they take after their mother.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Tonight was the night cap. Went to the Masco Girls D1 quarterfinals for our high school team. The girls won to advance and beat a team they lost to in the state finals and semifinals the last two years.

All in all a good day on the courts.

Congrats to the kids!

Good morning guys, great hockey game last night for the Hawks. Here we go go with the weather again - WTH? Looks like our area has the chance for the trifecta with thunderstorms to ice / sleet to snow. Though the snow dome over the Nashville area will likely mean nothing at all.

Congrats to all the kids and that was a good day.

Morning guys... its about 60 degrees here.... says its supposed to drizzle but not a drop in sight.

Hello everyone...

Yesterday had some flurries, then freezing rain. Now it snowed overnight.

It got to the point DW started pricing vacations (Still not going to happen this year, got other priorities for $$)

But at least she's got the Disney bug too! :rotfl2:

Rain and 36. Wish the front would move about 30 miles further south and we might miss out on the ice. As it is, it still could be messy.

Hi DIS Dads!

Just a quick pop in to point your way to a post that one of our DISers, Tom Bell, posted on the Disneyland Community forum. For the past seven years, DIS Divas have been leaving their husbands and children behind, and spending a weekend at Disneyland with other women, having a lot of fun.

Tom wants to know if the guys think this is something that could happen for the DIS Dudes:

Actually we have had 2 DisDad "conventions" for lack of a better work. They have been held during Marathon weekend the past two years. Plans are in the works for a group of Dads to head down again for Marathon weekend again in 2015 but I am not sure it has been designated yet as DDC3. A lot of discussions for it happen on our facebook page as well as Arron's Disdads.com page

Ice here. Schools cancelled for tomorrow.

I think it has been three conventions at WDW. The first one just wasn't called a convention and happened several years ago. There has been discussion of Disneyland convention and Dis Dad cruise. We also have DisDad nemesis, challenges, Fantasy football and baseball leagues, prayer requests, and non-park meet-ups.

I don't know about the DisDudes, but us DisDads have strict rules. See page 1 for all our wisdom. :lmao:
