How do you serve PB&J with Tofu?

I tried but can't think of any way to do it.

Went out to get the mail & trash. We had hardly any snow, but it is so cold, everything us frozen - mailbox, trash toter, front door, etc. Alternated heating the house with space heater and humidifiers to reduce furnace running all the time. It is brutally cold. I just might move closer to CJ after all.

It is so cold up there I can't even taunt you guys with the weather here. As a side note, wind chill is going to be 35-40 tonight and the news is warning people how to prepare for the cold snap. Hey people, it is going to be in the 80's in a couple of days. Sad.

Don't you have a lawn to mow or something?

AT least you get to eat the leftovers.

Sorry, too cold to mow the lawn. (OK, I broke the won't taunt rule for Tim). Also since I am leaving early tomorrow for WDW, the fridge is cleaned out including all tofu products. BAM, MIKE DROP!

Don't worry. I'm a lawyer. We have shovels too.

We also know people with access to land that needs fertilizing and equipment to dig deep holes so we can always make a run up there. I would like three holes dug for the boyfriend and the parents. AN UPDATE: Other arraignments were made so we will not be driving her up. I told the twin's mom it would not be a problem but they figured something else out.

Next Post: From Walt Disney World.

Morning

We've had some crazy weather this year too. Colder than average and not a lot of snow. We've been on the edge of each storm that has come through. My parents 50 miles north and my sister 90 miles south have both received over double the snow we've had. There's barely enough for the kids to sled on here.

Crazy, we've had more snow then we usually do, even was a white Christmas here. Ice Storms, extreme cold, snow, we've seen it all, and it's only early January.

Freezing cold here again, my windows have a layer of frost on the inside.

Windows with frost inside? Us too! Crazy!

But, I made it into work - and everyone is calling off sick....imagine that, it's -10 degrees outside and they don't want to come in, I don't blame them!

Morning Guys,

Getting colder here as I write and everything is frozen over after a day of rain yesterday. Another day added to Christmas Break for DS as they cancelled school today.

Stay safe everyone.

This is where that song "Blame Canada" begins playing in my head. Brrrr

‘Morning all…

Frozen morning all.

::yes::

It ain’t near as bad as what most of ya’ are dealing with, but “6” is a mighty small number to be registering on our household thermometer. Burrrr… Burrr I say.

On the up side it’s temporary. We should be back in the 60s Thursday and have fairly pleasant conditions in the stadium this Sunday (just wish regular humans could afford tickets to such extravaganzas).

Next Post: From Walt Disney World.

Never mind taunting about the weather…
That right there is downright cruel.

I heard sometime in either early spring, summer, or fall 2014

January 23rd, at 8:42 pm.
That's very specific. Tim could learn a thing or two from you.

It's weird how someone two states below me can have colder temps than us. We only got down to 10 I think.

That ain’t nothin’. It’s 27 up in Anchorage at the moment, and that’s above our predicted high for the day.

That’s just whacky.

Morning Dads North West Florida today had temps as low as 19 degrees or at least thats what it was when I was driving to work. Cold for us :rotfl: I feel bad for all of yall that are colder.

I'll keep it in mind. I have four lithographs from watchg DVC webcasts. I hope to have them framed and hang them in place of what DW bought when we were married. I've also saved all my KTTW cards, MNSSHP tickets, etc and hope stick them all together for a picture. The flash drive will play in there somehow.

That sounds like a pretty cool idea.... I had to ask cause I didn't get one for my trip.

I second the Peanut Butter, Beverly, TOFU.

So I get TOFU and I get Beverly but I'm failing to see how Peanut Butter falls into this category.

Good morning. Day 3 of the winter storm from hell. I actually got my butt out of bed, and drove to work despite the drifting snow and ridiculous cold temperatures and the fact that the county I work in was under an emergency travel only order... after calling in to see if I had to go first, of course. I was there for about 20 minutes before they told us to go home. Spending today at home too. So as much as the weather sucks outside, it is a beautiful day to be sitting in my lazy boy watching Mulan on the Disney channel with the kids.

Been working at keeping things thawed out around here. I have a kerosene heater in the garage to keep the generator and well from freezing up. I burn diesel in it though, because I've got diesel tanks on the farm here so there is always some available. Unfortunately, when it is -20 with 30 mph winds, diesel fuel freezes. So far I've been able to keep things going. They say we'll get up to 0 this afternoon, so hopefully we can stay thawed out until things warm up a bit tomorrow.

One curve ball. Her best friends are the twins next door. The three of them are less than a year apart and act like sisters. Another childhood friend of theirs is stranded down here and needs to get back to school in Orlando. The kid's parents are real pieces of work. They allowed her to stay sometimes at their house but basically disowned her years ago. The twin's mom did more to raise her than they did. Her car doesn't work and the dad promised to have a friend "fix" it. Of course it isn't ready, so she is stuck. The live in boyfriend is useless and another piece of garbage. Top it all off, she is a couple of months pregnant and the boyfriend took himself out of the picture. The shame about it is that she is a good kid, gets good grades, never in trouble... I just have a feeling if we run into the boyfriend I may need bail posted.

Sorry for ranting but it makes me even more thankful that I have a kid that has it together.
Sometimes a good dad has to be a "dad" to someone else's kids. It is a shame that a good kid like that has so much hanging over her head.

If you do run into that boyfriend, the extraction team will be on standby.

Awwww Peanut Butter, Beverly, TOFU!!!! :furious:

Just had some yutz from Denmark post a charge against my PayPal account for some worthless Facebook game (a pox of those blasted things as well& why in the he$$ would any individual that clams to be a thinking human being pay several hundred bucks - of my money - to take part in some bloody da#n online video game).

Thank the Maker for instant alerts though. Ive already disputed the charge with PayPal, changed the password and questions and removed the credit card from the account. Also already had the Visa folks lock down the card that was attached as well. Theyll have a new one to me via FedEx in the morning (which is rather impressive Customer service if you ask me). Now I just have to go through and change the passwords and card numbers on every other online function I use. P-I-T-A! :headache:

Ok, I'm done ranting&
I cant scream at the top of my lungs in the office so I took it out on yall.
Sorry bout that.
Awesome! It worked. :rolleyes1

I mean, I'm sorry. I'm glad you caught it and nipped it in the bud. :thumbsup2

AT least you get to eat the leftovers.
:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

So I get TOFU and I get Beverly but I'm failing to see how Peanut Butter falls into this category.

It is one of the Man Laws around here. Peanut Butter is considered a suitable replacement for any inappropriate 4 letter word. There's a brief explanation here. Tofu and Beverly have been added to that list, just because they basically are profanities.

OK dads, it's scary time in our household. DD had been not been feeling well off and on. Found out it is cramps and she has become a young lady:eek::headache::scared::scared::crazy2: (family board). I guess my little girl is growing up. I have now instituted a 5 yard opposite sex penalty area around her. Any boy found within the boundary will be swiftly removed and punished for his crimes.:thumbsup2 Talk about needing prayers and a support group. Was hoping for a few more years before having to deal with this one.

Look Ma, new ticker!

Oooooohhhhh! Aaaaahhhhhhh!

Getting stuff ready to leave tomorrow am. Her clothes are in the washer, mine to follow. Camera stuff packed including the new GoPro. Never got the straps I ordered so the kid is going to get a chest harness for it. I may let her take it on the 10K to video the race. Still need to purchase assorted snacks and beverages which I will get later.

Just give me a call. I'll come bail you out right after I take pictures of you behind bars.:rotfl2::rotfl2: On a serious note, scares me every day to even think about whom my DD may bring home. Luckily no interest in boys yet even though friends have "boyfriends" already. I think it has a lot to do with kids being active in sports. It seems the ones that are not start the relationship things earlier.

You know it's cold when... :scared1:

I tried to go to the drive-through ATM this morning. My car window was frozen shut. :headache:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo...

I'm going to be in the same boat. Actually, I'm looking at the possibility of a sleep-deprived infant, a post-partum mom, and a pre-teen girl going through puberty all in the same house at the same time.

Anyone want to adopt me for the year? I can do chores.

Ahhhh I see.... that makes more sense.

OK the weather is just plain strange. We've had 4 storms in the past 3 weeks, crazy cold temps, it has rained all day today and now we have a flash freezing warning. :scared:

Did you move to New England and not tell me?:lmao::lmao: That is pretty much normal around here. This is the only place you can be a weatherman, screw up every day and still keep your job. We have just learned to deal with it.

2 feet of snow last week, record cold over the weekend, 50's and rain yesterday, back to single digits today, by Saturday it will be 45 and raining again. It's no wonder we all aren't sick.:rolleyes1

Don't you have a lawn to mow or something.

It's all sand and ocean, baby!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

That ‘splanes it. Basically, I’m just showing my age here.

Of course, being as it was Andy that quickly picked up on it; he’s officially starting to show his age as well. Pretty soon I may have to stop callin’ him a “pup” (just not quite yet though).

Awesome! It worked. :rolleyes1

I mean, I'm sorry. I'm glad you caught it and nipped it in the bud. :thumbsup2

Yah… I suspected as much.
It would take a Pup to consider paying good money for an online video game.

I guess you win! I only have the one issue to deal with right now. Maybe we can come up with a reason to live at WDW for the next few years until things calm down.:lmao::lmao:
