Morning everyone hope you are all trying to stay warm. No closures this morning here, got pretty messy though. Problem now is temperature is dropping fast so it's all freezing up. Back to work though.

Hi from WDW. Well the 8:15 got delayed until something like 10 pm, but we were able to get seats on the 7:35. Bumpy ride here but we did see Wishes from the plane with all the walking from gate to gate, my hip started to complain. When got to Magical Express I had to sit down. As I was sitting there, two small kids came up to me with big smiles and asked if I was Santa Claus. Made my day! Of course I said no., but we all rode a Magical minivan and when they got off, I wished them well and said, "Ho Ho Ho".

Hilarious! I think Randall has a new nickname now.

just wanted to post that my favorite Disney cast member is home!!!!!

Welcome home Briana! Glad it turned out to be such a good experience for her.

Will be in the 60's here today, I can live with it. Later start today, still recovering from our long day on Saturday. Also, because I'm a idiot, I left my backpack on Magical Express. Wouldn't have been bad, but it had my meds in it, got it back last night, so I was off them for 48 hours.

If you are looking for pictures, I've posted some in the DISDad's Travelog. Will post more and I think the other Dads that will be here will be posting there too.

Day 18

Another day home from work. We officially had school closure notice around 6:00 PM, and I immediately took the day off. We had a dusting of snow, it looks like the roads are not wet/ ice, but it is cold at -3 currently. I will gladly enjoy another day off work and don't plan on leaving the house today. Hope everyone is able to keep warm today.

just wanted to post that my favorite Disney cast member is home!!!!! she had a great time in the eight months she was there. met a lot of great (and some not so great) people from all over the world. she loved working in the magic kingdom and couldn't have asked for a better role.she will always remember her days as a magic kingdom cast member and cherish those memories for the rest of her life.

Thanks for sharing her exploits with us Zerf. I enjoyed hearing the stories.
Congrats and good wishes to Briana as she moves on to the next adventure.

Since I can’t join in on the festivities I’m compelled to say: I hate all of ya’.

Good morning gents - great weekend of football. Seems that most of us are now getting back to post holiday normal with returning to work and school but mother nature has added an extra day of staycation for some. Supposed to head to Chicago tomorrow morning so we will see how that goes with all of the flight delays. Stay warm and safe guys.

I have a roof that needs replacing but a tree really should come down first and I got the quote on it...$2300. I liked trees until I became a homeowner.

Make sure you get some more quotes. We needed tree work a few years ago and the quotes we received were all over the place.

Glad that you were able to finally get there Randall. Congratulations on being able wake up in Disney's World! You should have told those kids that Santa was your nemesis.

That's a possibility. We are only low 50's here today so you get a little more heat today. Supposed to be back up to 40 and more rain on Saturday from what I am hearing. This weather is crazy. We'll be lucky if we are all not sick with pneumonia by the end of January.
