All of the posts about CJ's daughter running, running and running some more, is making me feel a tad bit guilty. I haven't run (except to get nachos in between plays) since the beginning of November. Holiday commitments and work commitments have had me sidelined. I'm hoping to get back on track this weekend and maybe even squeeze in some skiing, too.

Happy Friday Ownage to me. School is out today for a 1/4 inch of snow on the ground, which means I get a 4 day weekend.

Going through the mail back up while we were at Disney and Florida City sent me notification that I ran a red light and want me to pay a $154 fine. Funny thing is I was making a right turn and right turns on red are allowed in Florida. Now I need to go to court to fight it. Blown tire on the way back then this. I want to go back to the Disney bubble.

They will likely claim one of two things. Either you didn't come to a full and complete stop before making the turn or you made the stop beyond the white "stop" line on the road. Did they send the pictures along with the citation?

Wow, going after the basketball team now. Their still proud, Proud of the 17 first round picks coming over the net 5 years. Now let's see where to ship Rondo. You know he's not staying, right? The only reason he is actually going to play tonight is to showcase him to prove he can actually play. And besides, no one care about the NBA anymore. I haven't watched a full NBA game since 2009.

I'm happy to keep Romo if they find a coach and a defense that could stop someone.

Yeah, like that's going to happen with Jones playing GM. At least Bob Kraft has figured out that he should in no way be picking players. The whole Parcells, grocery shopping fiasco was pretty funny though.

Evening...been pretty busy lately, plus suspect a battle with a flu bug coming up. Prayers, congrats and beer for all need them.

Yeah what the hell happened the other night? The unwashed masses almost started to plan another parade.

Morning Men!

DD has a hoop game tonight. On the soap box. This is 5th grade girls basketball. We are playing a team that only plays a 1-2-2 zone. How do you teach a 10/11 year old how to play basketball by playing zone. No one learns anything on either side. The girls are too young offensively to shoot from outside and the defense doesn't learn how to actually "play" defense. of course my outstanding coaching experience has brought out the 1-3-1 motion offense for this evening. DD's best spot on the floor is the high post. Passes well out of it, can knock down the jumper and is like a freight train driving to the hoop. We are looking for a big game tonight. OK, off the soapbox. Reality is that it's a 5th grade girls basketball game so we plan to have pizza before the game as a team, go run around for a while, try to put a ball in a round metal hoop and have cupcakes when we are done. All in all a good evening.

You mean you actually go outside and remove 1/4 inch of snow? We just leave it there until the next storm when it's worth the effort to go outside.

Back at the room, the Cheetah heard about this thing called an ice bath that helps in recovery so she decided to do it. She found out it is extremely painful. Funnier than he!! listening her beg for mercy as she sat in the bath.

They used to give us those when I was playing college and professional soccer, especially during pre-season.

Oh my God they sucked....they usually worked, but it was PAINFUL while you were going through it. They put you in these steel tubs with a water "agitator"...felt like you were in a giant milkshake maker

You'd get halfway back to your room and get the full body shivers

Credit Card has been compromised. Either that or my wife has secretly been buying expensive antiques in Oklahoma. Second time in a year I've had to cancel a credit card for fraud.

Sorry this has happened (again!). I think it's going to get worse with all the security breaches and such. The more technology is involved it just seems to be easier for it to happen. I had to cancel a card last year when charges on iTunes started popping up every day. Good luck the process goes smoothly ad it doesn't happen again.

No new antiques at the house. For $600 it could be one nice item or a huge collection of junk. There's so much clutter in my house it could very easily be the latter and I just haven't noticed. When I called Chase, I was tempted to tell him the huge AP purchase at Disney last month was fraudulent but I thought better of it.

Yesterday was my first day back to work after DDCC / Half Marathon. It was 11°. Not going to lie - I spent a good part of the day coming up with a pro/con list of just packing up everything we can fit in our two cars, heading to Florida and trying to sell the house from down there.

Well well well, looky who we have here.

Make sure you type with only one hand. The other one is for changing radio stations and gesturing at other drivers.

Two of my kids have January birthdays. To avoid football conflicts we did them both Saturday mornings. Chick E Cheese at 9:30 am, skip the pizza play some games and we were out of there at 11.

DWs good friend usually has her son's birthday party on Superbowl Sunday.

This year DW has a baby shower Superbowl Sunday from 11a-2p then is on call from 3p-11p. How the hell do I slither my way out of the house to my friends Superbowl Party that starts at noon? Did I mention he lives 45 minutes away? I might be sitting here by myself, and by myself I mean with 3 crazy kids, watching the game.

After my last trip in August, I was in a meeting with the Executive Vice President of the company. He asked how my trip was and I told him "I'd say it's good to be back, but we both know I'd be lying." He must have been amused, because I'm still employed.

Risky… but what was the worst that could happen? He fire you then you move to Florida?
