Afternoon fellas. Just watched Pacific Rim, and I have to say it's pretty good!

I couldn't get into it.

Mood swings definitely do not go away. They only grow in intensity. My 13yo will be lucky to live long enough to teach my 6yo how not to act.

So it was a little cold out today +2 with wind chill of -15

Yes it was cold, but this is my reality EVERYDAY People were coming in complaining about the cold, all I'm thinking is Suck it up Buttercup this is nothing new here, I did get off a few what are you going to do when it gets really cold out (that was the reality check so they remember who they are talking to):

It warmed up to 15 degrees here, which is the current high of the day at 8:00 PM.

Made it safely to the Lake Buena Vista Holliday Inn. Nice place, not as many amenities as the Hilton, but I earn points here. And you would never guess, but I am cold.

Norm-I was making fun of S. Floridians and the media frenzy over 30 degree wind chill. It was pitiful listening to them telling us how to prepare for the cold front when in Chicago it is -19 etc.

Well, it's been quite a few days. School canceled for the last two days due to wind chill under -35°. But, I'm heading down to WDW tomorrow, so that helps me get through it.

OK dads, it's scary time in our household. DD had been not been feeling well off and on. Found out it is cramps and she has become a young lady (family board). I guess my little girl is growing up. I have now instituted a 5 yard opposite sex penalty area around her. Any boy found within the boundary will be swiftly removed and punished for his crimes. Talk about needing prayers and a support group. Was hoping for a few more years before having to deal with this one.

This is not cool at all. My DD is 9 and already showing signs of maturity. I swear it gives me an ulcer just thinking about it.

I don't know the particulars yet but probably. Melody is on a health kick right now and she thinks she wants to run the 10K. So it this remains true in a few months, I'll run the 10K then the 1/2

Change of plans for today. We were going to hit rope drop at the MK but DD decided to sleep in. I was OK with it considering she is going to have to get up at insane o'clock the next four days. Tested the fastpass+ out and was able to change our morning ones for the afternoon. Pretty easy and makes me like this system more.

Went to the Boardwalk to check in and soon heading down to breakfast. When the Princess wakes up, we will go to the Expo and get the race stuff and then the MK.

Been awhile since I posted, Im trying to get back in the swing of things. Hoping things will slow down some now at work, but it seems that keep adding things as I clear them off the list.

Got back from WDW about a week ago now. Still feeling the post trip blues. HS was awesome for New Years eve, the whole family had a blast. Wife got pulled to participate in Indiana Jones and Im pretty sure we saw Johny Depp walking around the park incognito.

Colder than some of you, but not all of you, so I won't complain about it, but just share my joy at the fact that in about 12 hours we'll be landing in weather significantly warmer!!

Just say the penguins are as is, and the reindeer are actually moose and the snowman is Rob Ford and now it's a Canada Diarama.

That's as good a plan as I could come up with. I'll go with it!

This morning I check the flight status and everything is good. DW says, "yeah, but it's so cold, maybe the plane won't be able to take off."

Me: "It will be fine. There's places a lot colder than here and the planes fly."

DW: "Your friend who's picking up our race stuff... where's he from?"

Me: "Minnesota, or Wisonsin, or Canada.."

DW: "What if he can't fly out and he can't pick up our stuff... then i can't run..." she pauses to consider that, then shuts up and goes back to getting ready with an evil grin on her face.

So it's begun... I got a txt from my Disney crazy coworker her husband was notified that he is in the bucket of people who could lose their Air Force Career. She said they were thinking of volunteering to separate because if they do they get an extra 10G's in my mind though not enough extra money because he could make that in less than half a year if he stays in. I do believe that he has a job that on the outside has a higher potential for earning. My job has more jobs out there but lower pay..... Here is hoping I don’t get notified.

On a more positive note I am really jealous of all the people going down for marathon weekend. I have done the Expedition Everest Challenge twice and had a blast. I have liked Run Disney no FB and they keep posting stuff about the shoes the Sorcerer Mickey shoes are awesome and I wish I could get a pair.
