The snow pulled all the down spouts off. I have to keep an eye on the house but so far no flooding.

Yeah, I have one that is iced up pretty good, but short segment, not falling off. It is on the North side of the garage. Still good amount of snow on the roof, not helping. Today will! Snow is melting fast. Lots of water on the road. Sump has not started yet, which is a good thing, I hope. I better go check it to make sure all is good. The NW corner of the house is the trouble area, which happens to be where the sump empties out.

Where will you be on the 17th and 18th? I'll be in DHS and MK those days.

DHS on Monday 17th. Going home on 18th :-(

If you go in January, you both can be part of my team,
"Team Rolling Thunder, There's Beer At The End!"
Tempting, but is there also an oxygen tent? After 13.1 miles, I think I'd prefer the oxygen.
Yes, we arrive on Oct 4. We won't do a park that day, but usually schedule a character breakfast. We are staying at the Boardwalk. I was thinking CJ was also there that day, but it may have been towards the end of the trip.

The race is Oct 4 at night. I'm working my DVC rental angle to see if we can get a studio for the 3rd and 4th. Boardwalk is actually my first choice for this trip. But we're a week in to the 7-month window and I think my chances are slim.

Just booked the 2 hour Guided Excursion for this coming Saturday for myself and 3 oldest kids! :cool1:

7am trip w/ 7:35am sunrise. Gonna kick some bass!

I've done several times and LOVED it every time....If you decide to do it, call and book Eddie from New Jersey. Best guide out there. Ask to fish the Epcot Lake, I liked it a better. It's now a tradition with me and my DS.

Yes, I asked for Eddie, thanks!

What is typical $ amount to tip the Guide? $40? :confused3

Mornin', Dads. Oh, wait.. it's not morning anymore.
Mondays suck. Mondays after a week in the World REALLY suck.
Mondays after a week in the World where your leg feels like it wants to fall off....? Not sure, but I know it's not priceless.
I don't know what I did to my leg, but it feels like I pulled a muscle (again), and I wasn't exacly in a place where I could rest it. So right now I'm really appreciative of modern chemistry. Seeing a doc tomorrow, hope I can start taking the more effective stuff again....

About the trip... How can I put this in a way that won't get me banned, and won't bore y'all silly? I can't, so to keep it short, DW and DS called it 'FUN', so I guess I'll go with that, even though a few times along the week we were thinking about coming home early. We've also cancelled plans to go back in June as an anniversary/Star Wars Weekends trip, and to start going other places now that DS is getting old enough to appreciate them. (we were supposed to celebrate his birthday at an ADR in Epcot on Thurs, but that got CANXed, too; ADR, EPCOT, the works)
There were several good things this trip; NASA was very enjoyable, we were 'upgraded' to a Pirate Room at the Caribbean Beach (which we really could have done without), we played a little more of the Sorcerers game (Still haven't finished a mission), we played a WHOLE mission of the Adventurland Pirate Adventure which was really fun, DS rode Pirates of the Caribbean and enjoyed it, DS drove solo on the Speedway for the first time, and DS did the Island Pirate Quest at CBR, which he really enjoyed. Oh, and I did get a Citrus Swirl, but not the rummed-up Dole Whip. The only day we went to EPCOT (Monday), all the F&G stuff was still under wraps.
So, all in all, yeah, it was fun and we got home safely. We had a couple of days of down-time, which my leg appreciated, but I would still have preferred park time. :P

To all the Dads about to go... have a great time.

We plan to get to the BWV at 8:00 AM on Oct 4. We leave Friday night and drive straight thru. Eventually, I'll be too old to drive it, but not this year. Anyway, I nap outside for a couple hours at the pool on Saturday, and we will usually go to Mass Sat night around 5:00 PM. I may be able to convince DW for a Sunday morning Mass time if it works better.

No ADRs other than Ranglan Road?
Sorry, posted the ADRs prior and was just throwing out parks for any potential meets. Here's the ADR list for this trip:

Sunday March 16 - Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic Pkg
Monday March 17 - Chef Mickey's & Biergarten (I know a mic going to Biergarten on St Pats Day? We have never been and already did Raglan Road
Tuesday March 18 - Keys to the Kingdom Tour & DISDads meet with Chris
Thursday March 20 - Tusker House bkfst & Tonys Town Square

Crud! Missed meeting Barry and his family this weekend. Jodi was sick and then we had to take her Mom to the ER. She has a lung infection, so they plugged in an iv to give her antibiotics. Well MIL has dementia and doesn't understand why she is there. She's isn't sick. So, what does she do, pulls out the iv, a number of times. The nurses are pissed. I'm sure by now, they have her strapped now. :lmao: She's getting better, so we have that going for us.

Barry, sorry we missed you.

Hope Jodi and you MIL are feeling better Randall.

Monday Afternoon ownage!!!!

Well, DS won his game in the morning, but we lost last night so we are eliminated from our title run. DS had 2 good games scoring 21 and 16 points respectively. In the morning game he scored 18 straight. Everyone asked where we got the HGH when the game as over.:lmao::lmao: Now the seasons are over and I get a break for a few weeks.:thumbsup2 Time to earn my Team Sparrow membership and sit not he couch and drink for a while.

Congrats to your DS! That is a couple of nice games.

Enjoy your break, DS has his provincial championships this weekend and we've just started school volleyball and travel soccer will be starting in a month.

Good list. We really enjoyed the HBD. I think we are trying Mama Melrose this year at DHS.

Ummmm…. I'm trying to read through the lines but I'm not following. Can you elaborate a bit more? :surfweb:

It's probably the beer in the end that is causing the "Rolling Thunder"

That sounds like a lot of fun. I miss the days I used to fish.

Morning guys. A high of 67 here today, before we get snow tomorrow.

I saw that this morning. We have same high forecasted, but don't think there will be snow - just colder temps. I was hoping this freeze thing was finally over.

Morning guys.

I want to know which one of you took the sun and what did you do with it?

I was just checking out the men's slalom from the Sochi Paralympics and there were two British spectators wearing yellow Mickey rain ponchos. Looks like Mickey is getting ready to invade Russia.

Best of luck to you for tomorrow. Just noticed your location, DD is in your neck of the woods for spring break so keep an eye on her for me will ya, :thumbsup2

Good morning gentlemen.

Peanut does not have strep but something viral that acts like strep. So instead of pumping the kid with antibiotics and waiting two days we have to let this thing work its way through over the next 7 to 10 days.

Randall, I hope Jodi and your MIL get better soon.

The part I lost is just the extensions from the side of the house that you take off to mow. Our sump pump hasn't started but that could cahnge today with the rain.
