A girl?

Uh huh.

There's a girl on the team he's trying to impress. :rotfl:

:lmao:

No particular name keeps cropping up in conversation, but I certainly wouldn’t rule that possibility out.
Fine by me either way. What the exact motivation is matters not. It’s just good to see such drive to work for what he wants.
:thumbsup2

Maybe... Just maybe... my tuition money is being well spent.
:rotfl2:

Good morning gentlemen.

The Twins have two but the last was over 20 years ago. I just want to see the Vikings get there. The 98 season still hurts.
I'm partial to the Joe Kapp and the 1967 Vikings. :thumbsup2

I hate you. ;)

There's got to be another reason....

I hate it when Barry and I are on the same page.

I would be in the same boat if the Colts hadn't finally one a Super Bowl after all those "so close" years.

Embrace the power of the all knowing and powerful Rafiki :thumbsup2

Sorry, all my teams have at least one championship. Not all in my lifetime, but at least they have 1!

All 4 of my major sports teams have at least 1 championship too. And they've all had at least 1 in my lifetime. In fact, there have been 8 in the last 12 years.

But whatever.

;)

Finally........Friday :cool1:

:thumbsup2 And what a beautiful Friday it is in my neck of the woods. A blistering 10 degrees out with a forecast of 6 more inches of snow. At least my co-workers all decided to show up for work  I may actually get some downtime today!

The new Canadian version of beer pong, alcohockey..

Good morning Dads and happy Friday. On way to airport and not as cold in Chicago today so all is well.

Good to hear bringing Max home went well.

Successful round trip.
Interestingly, he actually volunteered to do some heavy lifting. Right after asking us not to buy him any more soft drinks and explaining that he needs to get up earlier to do some running.

Not what you generally expect from someone just shy of 19, but he has an ulterior motive. He auditioned for a spot in the Spirit of Atlanta drum and bugle corps and made it through the first round. Since there are not a lot of openings for new members he want to be ready for anything they throw at him in the next work camp in January. I’ll let you know if he makes it but right now I like his chances.

Welcome home Max! :thumbsup2

Not likely, but hopefully she's a keeper. :rotfl2:

And it's your Colts that beat my Bears. But it's my Bears that beat his Pats 46-10 in Super Bowl 20. Circle of Life.

Know what the difference is between Marty McFly and Bears fans?

Eventually, Marty McFly stopped going back to 1985.

If I stopped going back to 1985, there would be a rip in the time/space continuum.

Seriously, if you weren't a part of it you wouldn't understand. But that was just so much fun the way they took over the world for that year. I think I still have my Super Bowl Shuffle tape.

That must be in the new refurb at Circle of Life show.
