Meals for the DDC2 seem to be shaping up rather well.

I still havent caught up since the weekend so I am not going to quote things.I am going to shoot from the hip.

Happy Birthday to all that had one.
Welcome to the new guys..
No one love Biergarten more then I do.
I am sure Randall is still being Randall.
Hope all is going well with those training for their races.
If it has BACON then it is breakfast.
Yes the Steelers are sucking it up right now.
My Disney trip for Nov is still up in the air.
Where ever Paul wants to eat meals for the DDC2 is good with me.
Kona for breakfast on Sun is a must!!

Lets see did I miss anything?

I'll argue the Biergarten point with you... ;)

As far as meals for DDCC2, I'm strategically planning them around our "training" at World Showcase to maximize our carb intake. :thumbsup2

Holy mackerel! You get busy for a few weeks and miss a thread. Hope all is well, dads.

So I'm actually having a productive DisDads FFB season at 7-2. Not sure how that's happening.

Happy Tuesday!!!

Cheers,
Indy

Rob for the life of me I don't know why this will never let me quote you. :confused3

Have I been outlawed in Canada or something?
:rotfl2:

Not too bad. Harvest has been slowly getting started around here for a few weeks, however, we just started on our farm yesterday. Well, really we started last Wednesday, but we just got the combine out and shelled a semi load of corn just to make sure everything was working the way it should. Yesterday was the real first day.

So far everything looks good. Corn seems to be above average. In fact, I think on some of our fields where we caught a few extra rains we could be looking at record yields on that ground. The beans have been hurt a little bit by the hot dry weather late this summer, but yields I've been hearing from some neighbors actually seem to be much better than expected as well, so hopefully that trend continues with ours. :thumbsup2

Good to hear. Y’all had it rough last year.
And while it’s my job to wish ill will upon you…
I’d never wish tragedy on those things that sustain your family (that’d be un-dad like).

So with that in mind… may the yields be good enough to work you absolutely senseless.

I read them but try not to post in other's reports. I tend to get a little post happy.

Well if you’ve read any of them, then you know that additional commentary could only be an improvement :lmao:

Haven't posted here in a while, but I'm in need of some Pixie Dust.

I've known about this for about three weeks now, but yesterday I got the official email: my company will not be renewing my contract near the end of October. They just don't have enough programs to justify having a full-time native English speaker. They will, however, keep me to teach classes on a part-time basis (maybe 8 hours a week for most weeks, possibly as little as 4). On the plus side, since I worked for POSCO Research Institute for two years, that's a great thing to have on a resume. On the negative side, since we've been planning our trip to the States for December, and have already bought the tickets and what not, it's making finding a full-time job (that will allow me to take a three week vacation after only about a month of working with them) difficult. Probably wouldn't be able to start anything till the new year.

We have another year left on our housing contract, so we'll be staying in Pohang at least until next summer or so. Then, we plan on moving to the States (we're tired of dealing with one-year contracts and moving all the time). We're going to spend most of our trip in December scoping out neighborhoods and suburbs of Chicago. Any advice would be very welcome. (To give you guys an idea of what we're looking for, we'd like to be in a nice neighborhood with nice schooling, etc., relatively close to Korean communites/other families, and not too expensive {all we can afford is 100k or under}). Also, any potential job leads would be nice (preferably dealing with international relations, perhaps at a university [but not teaching, I don't have a teaching degree]).

I didn't put this in the rant section, because I'm not at all angry with the company, I completely understand their viewpoint (plus, they want me to keep working with them, even if it's just a limited basis). We just have a lot of stress these days due to the situation.

Sounds the same.

I resemble that remark.

Yes.....Yes, you do. Bot that was an easy one. :lmao::lmao:

I'm posting from my phone, I'll go back and respond to some comments later but you gotta see this....
