Good morning Dads and hope all had a great weekend. Weather in our neck of the woods was perfect, ND & Bears won, DD was home for DW to spoil her at the mall so what can I say great weekend. Now Monday is here and flight is delayed this morning. Great way to start off a week of business travel. Have a good week guys.

Should be an easy week for me -PTL-. I have to drive to campus today & tomorrow and then off Friday. It will be a nice extra travel to return from WDW trip by the time it gets processed. 11 more sleeps.

I'm still finalizing the plans. Not running as I have been told not to by the doctor, but will be cheering. I'll let you know if I can get everything set. Still have some moving parts.

Hello Everyone, I would like to Join Dis Dads. My Qualifications are: I will be going on my 4th trip to WDW in 2013, next month, the last 2 were Mancations (no children). I have been to Disney over 35 times in the last 15 years. I also Brew Beer! I think I qualify, so I will wait patiently for my Dis Dad Number.

Had a great weekend. Gators won even though they lost their QB and the fish are now 3-0. Nice come from behind win. Ended the weekend with pasta. Good time was had by me.

It looks like there are some mixed opinions out there as to whether a new QB is a good thing or a bad thing. I haven't really seen much of the Gators this year. What is your thought on that?

I think the most important thing would be to "follow" in the car until a few hundred yards away from home. Then gun it past her to get into the house before you can be locked out.

Evening noble gentlemen...
The fam and I are just over 3 weeks out from our Dis trips.
1. I made some fancy smancy t-shirts for my girls as we will be celebrating their Bdays while in The World. I will post later.
2. Tried the bacon jerky. My youngest DD just kept saying, "It's sooo good!"
3. Just got our Magic Bands and already scheduled our FP+ selections...pretty cool stuff.
4. I've done 2 5K races since beginning of August and have one scheduled for 2 weeks after our Disney trip. Team Sparrow in full effect
5. I plan my trips about a year out...as I approach the 3 week mark, I feel completely overwhelmed and under prepared. What's up with that?

Hey Brett, Congrats on being under 3 weeks! Still haven't seen that bacon jerky in the store, but we are looking. Nice work on the 5K's. We always feel overwhelmed in the couple of weeks leading up to the trip. It will come together.

Lot going on but I’ll see if I can keep up this week. Spent all Saturday helping run a band competition at the local HS; still aching and tuckered. Worse yet, my boy graduated from there last year and I’m still volunteering…

I do believe that qualifies me to be included among the ranks of “The Stupid”.
All my normally retched ball teams actually won this weekend though so that eases the aches a might.

Man, its a split stay trip this run.

UT OH... Am I gonna be one of these people? My wife is gonna be nursing while we are there, and we are pulling my daughter out of school.

You do know that you are stunting her education, right? I love those threads. How dare you take your daughter out of school to go to Disney. We always got letters from the school every year. I kept all of them (12) and we are planning some sort of fun way to show them off when the kids graduate.

DS is moving to a new room in the basement and he has selected the new colours for the room - Zombie Green and Twilight Zone Purple. The painting starts shortly.

DS has chosen a dark gray for his make over. Not really sure what the theme will be. DD has chosen "Sully Blue" from MU. Painting is scheduled for early October. Post pics when it's done, I'll try to do the same.
