Good morning. Scary storms yesterday. It seems the storm splt as it neared us and the bad one went north while the less bad went south. We still had really strong winds.

Andy, did you see the car that was flipped into the Starbucks in Lebanon?

Happy no storm Monday :thumbsup2

Morning Guys, welcome to another Monday.

I hope all of you that went through the storm are safe and sound.

Its all good here now!!!! We even still have electric!!!:thumbsup2

Glad you guys made it through unscathed Steve....pretty wicked storms. We survived after some major straight line winds and still had our power as well! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you made out OK David!

Good Morning! :coffee:

Morning Darcy! :wave2:

Happy belated birthday Andy!

Man, can't believe those storms yesterday. Hope everyone is ok. The front came through our area about 3 in the morning and woke me up--the wind was unbelievable.

The real problem is that the Redskins wait till it's too late to start playing man the skins need to get it together.

I didn't see that as a problem yesterday at all.:confused3

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone. 32 now. Just another day... :confused3 :lmao:

37 pages until the race to the finish. Should hit around Thanksgiving. I'm going to try to go off-line that week. Do I need to put the Moderators on standby alert? :stir::rotfl:
Thanksgiving thread closings are always fun... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Storm kind of fizzled out by the time it got to us... Sure we had heavy rain and some ridiculous straight line winds, but it could have been much worse. The only damage was some tree limbs that will need to be picked up and we were out of power for a couple of hours.

I saw that. There was some bad stuff to the south too, but we were also lucky to be in that central area where the worst kind of split. Did you hear about that half mile wide tornado down around Vincennes/Washington/Bedford??

That was the storm I was watching. The last tornado in our county came from a system that started down in that area. This one didn't make it quite as far north. It ended up losing some strength and went through the Greensburg area. They were still under a tornado warning last night after most other areas were all clear though. You know how the news stations are in Indy... once the threat is past the metro area, they're more worried about the damage already sustained than the remaining potential.

Top four are Team Sparrow members. Good to see all that training has paid off well for us.

Around here I am just that $%!! Yankee. There is one guy from over your way that has been here over 40 years and they still look at him as an outsider.

I'm not a Yankee, but 19 yrs later, I am an outsider. I did originate from that Northern metropolis called Louisville, 2 hours away, which fails in comparison to real cities. Rural hospitality is great for visitors - just don't stay.

Good Morning Dads,

Blew a breaker on Saturday night so spent most of Sunday replacing the breaker and then decided that since I was already involved, installed a bunch of lights where needed int he basement. $180 and 4 hours later, my basement is now full illuminated. Scratch one off the honey-do list.

I asked for a new MacBook. Doesn't look possible.

Since the kids are older, we are going with the more expensive gift and a few smaller ones and that's it. DD is on the list for the new iPad Mini and DS want the Kindle Fire HDX. Looks like a technology filled season. Both already on order and got some decent savings by searching for discounts. We also have a ping pong table coming for the basement. Santa's list done…….Check! Just some little things to get and all done already. It's going to be a relaxing shopping season for this guy.

Happy Birthday AFWDWFAN!!!!!

Happy Birthday Andy! And a belated one to you as well Tim!

Yeah, I noticed that too. I took a look at their website it looks like most of their smokers are designed this way. Doesn't make sense to me, but maybe they know something I don't. Probably a few things, in fact!

Sorry you missed it. It was announced on at least two of the three major forums. So much traffic goes through the sites sometimes, I guess its easy to get buried and not seen. Maybe if enough guys express interest, we can do another "pool" of people.

If a new pool is done, please add me in as well. If not, there's always next year. I didn't see it posted here, but I miss some off the weekend posts regularly.

I also missed it Chris. Saw it posted on FB, glanced at it and procrastinated thinking I had time. In the past I think we had a thread here and if it was posted, I missed it. If it is a group thing, lets do what we can to highlight it on all three venues. Too bad, someone missed out, I had Dolphin Tchotchkes I was going to give them.

PM me your address and I'll send your Patriots AFC East Championship apparel. Merry Christmas.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

At least the Phins won yesterday. It looks like there are a lot of teams fighting for those last two playoff spots at this point. Good luck.

Not procrastinators like me. I'll send you a PM. Just don't blame me if I mail it December 27 or later. I would appreciate a hint though, would you prefer a Dolphin or Seton Hall pennant? And SHHHHH! You are not supposed to know where it came from.

Not a fan of the NFC East so I did not have a dog in that hunt. I just wished it wasn't so awful until they decided to play. But what do I know, I am a Dolphins fan. (Even though they just took a 17-10 lead.)

Will do! But as a Georgetown Grad, I can't take Seton Hall stuff and as a Giants/Patriots fan, not sure about the dolphin stuff. Anything Disney would be good! (Obviously)

A real live dolphin or a stinkin' pennant. I'd go for the dolphin, but I have no where to keep it.

Brian's right, I'll take the actual dophin. Can it be delivered to a PO Box?

Just scared and chased my son and wife around the house screaming:lmao::confused3

I put on a sweatshirt and there was a fuzzy piece of black thread that was on the back of my hand and when I moved my hand it moved:rotfl:, needless to say I kept moving it around saying whats that, as I chased them while they were screaming through the house:rotfl2:

Maybe I'll do that at WDW in line instead of using a FP

Hey, Ron, I got your package! Thanks for returning the favor!

PM me your address and I'll send your Patriots AFC East Championship apparel. Merry Christmas.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh, and clearly this place has gone to hell in a handcart in my absence (Sorry I missed the signup deadlines for DDCC 3 in 2015). Putting on my scoutmaster hat to help get things back on track. :thumbsup2

Well obviously I too missed the signups for DDCC 3 in 2015. I knew about the 2014 and can't attend since I will be arriving just a a week later. Hard to believe that folks are already talking about 2015 and 2014 hasn't even happened yet.

No issues with weather for us over the weekend. Tornado sirens started going off on a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning. I assumed it was some kind of test until they started going off again about 30 minutes later. Check the weather forecast and sure enough, tornado warnings for the other side of the county. Luckily, it all blew north of us and we had nothing but rain and a few small limbs blown off the trees.

I see what you've done.... :scratchin:scratchin

Glad everyone made it through he storms ok. Rain came through here last night. It is over 60 degrees here now. Wonder when the temps will drop. :confused3

What, who? We signed up for 2015? I guess I need to get onto the Facebook group. Although I'm not on FB very often.:headache:

Prayers for those that got hit by tornado's yesterday. SOme of the news coverage showed pretty severe damage.

That is the only pennant the Phats will get this year. And only because the rest of the East sucks.

Will do! But as a Georgetown Grad, I can't take Seton Hall stuff and as a Giants/Patriots fan, not sure about the dolphin stuff. Anything Disney would be good! (Obviously)

This morning I met with someone from SH for breakfast. Gave me all sorts of Pirate paraphernalia. You may not have a choice.

As for the Dolphin, They let you swim with them down here but no taking them home.

I see what you've done…. :scratching:scratchin:

Nothing can get by you Tim.
