Well, a lot of interesting Disney news out of the FreezinRafiki household.
After much budgeting negotiations, we decided on what tickets to get for our upcoming January vacation. We had planned on 3 day base tickets, but decided to do Annual Passes instead. Why?
Well, because Disney Cruise Line changed their policy of using on-board booking discounts. Previously, you could schedule any future cruise, then reschedule, then reschedule again and the discount always came along. Now, you have to use your discount within 18 months (24 months for those with existing discounts, such as yours truly.) So we looked and we hemmed and we hawed, but then decided on a 3 night repositioning cruise on the newly refurbished Disney Magic from San Juan, PR to Port Canaveral in October. And since we're getting off the boat in Florida anyway, we might as well spend a few days in WDW before heading home, right?
It took several calls and a lot of hours to get our APs linked to My Disney Experience, but I was finally able to make our FP+ reservations for January s well. I love it when a plan comes together.
