I flashed the red and blues at whoever it was, so if it was you, that was just Fed saying hello. (This would have been on I 95 outside of Jacksonville, FL)

And gave whoever was driving a mild heart attack. :lmao:

Ah,, Mondays...just about to work when DW calls to tell methe school called, I had to pick up the youngest, she is under the weather, so had to call in and turn around. I had a big work day too, plus it's my new boss' first day, just to make it better. :rotfl2: Also it;s our 13th anniversary today.

Happy anniversary!

Sorry to hear that one of the young’ens is feeling poorly though.
May that clear up quickly.

The kids are off of school Thursday and Friday, so we're using up some credit we had with Southwest and heading to Branson, Mo for a long weekend. Found a deal using the Hotels.com mobile app that got me an extra 30% a two bedroom condo/time share place - making it $97 a night. Got a rental car from Priceline - forget exactly what I paid, but I recall entering in the bid, laughing, and thinking "there's no way I'll get a full size this cheap!"
We only have a few things planned, trying to keep the vacation relaxing. There is a 40 mile train ride through the Ozarks and cave tour just over the boarder in Arkansas.
The only meal we have planned right now is at Lambert's - home of the Throwed Rolls, suggested by Sean. You stick your hand up in the air, and a server throws a dinner roll into it from across the room. :thumbsup2

If anyone has any other "must do's" in the Branson area, I'm all ears.
Should be a lot of fun. I’ve seen a story on Lambert's somewhere one cable or maybe it was PBS, but either way I’m looking forward to hearing what y’all think of the place and Branson in general. There are plenty of write ups about Branson, but a DisDad Perspective will be more useful to this group.

This thread is completely overwhelming and terrifying but whatever. I'm 46 (it's really like 30 days with weekends )days out from my trip and looking for ways to waste time.

We are going with our 2 girls (5 and 4) and we are bringing my parents and my brother and his friend.

I'll admit, I don't have any character tattoos yet, but maybe drinking around the world this year will lead to something new.

:welcome:
You’ve found one of the single best places under the sun to waste time.

Ask your questions…
Post your favorite fart joke…
Grab a beer out of the fridge and join in; we’re glad to have you here.

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You mail them to me and I will distribute them to the guys. Have a great trip. Are you all staying on property?

By the way, I passed a beige minivan from Ohio this morning (Yes, Barry, I *passed* it.....) that could be, or at least should be a DisDad. Had a couple of kids in the back with the Disney Family cutouts and a DVC sticker on the back windshield.

I flashed the red and blues at whoever it was, so if it was you, that was just Fed saying hello. (This would have been on I 95 outside of Jacksonville, FL)

And scared the crap right out of them. :lmao:

Yeah I wasn't thinking....felt like a ******* later...:rotfl2:

Sounds like fun! Nice job picking up the states. :thumbsup2 As always, we expect pictures and a TR--ok, maybe not the TR.:rotfl2:

For a second I thought you were going to Bronson..

Welcome aboard! This place isn't scary at all. Maybe a little smelly, but not scary.

Good Morning Dads! Another Monday but another week closer to all planned Disney trips. Have a good week and be safe out there.

That is a good way to look at it. Only about 23 more weeks to go then. :thumbsup2

‘Morning all…
Had to head back to work to find enough time to check in again. L-o-n-g weekend of packing boxes and moving them into storage. House is about two thirds empty now. Still much to do though, but I do have the evening and another weekend to get it under control.

I was planning on avoiding that storage part. Hopefully, they don't stay there too long.

No suggestions, so enjoy your trip.

The Irish win, and the Colts beat the Broncos last night. I have zero inside information, but if it was Irsay's idea to get all the hype to be on him and #18, then well done :thumbsup2

It was a good game and the Colts are playing well. Did you get the tickets for that game? :lmao:

Letting the kids sleep in a bit today. They were both wiped out last night. We had to wait almost an hour for a bus because a bus broke down right at the entrance of the bus area at Magic Kingdom

Good plan. I have enjoyed WDW so much more with those few days of rest.

We were at Kona for dinner last night and got out just before the party fireworks so we missed all the craziness I guess. We drove so we have our van here as well. So that makes it a ton easier. ?

Great morning picture. Kona is a great place for dinner.

Morning guys. 13 days to go...
:thumbsup2

That sounds even better. Have a great trip - got room for me?

Had something unusual happen at Typhoon Lagoon when we were there two weeks ago. Usually when I go down Humonga Cawabunga (sp?) the water really pounds my hips when I hit the run out pool. This time in addition to the hips it felt like someone was punching me in the back between the shoulder blades. Has anyone else ever experienced this or is it just a result of my own particular and peculiar hydrodynamics?:confused3

There will be pictures on Facebook with witty comments. Does that count?:confused3

Did you happen to land on the kid that went down the slide before you? Maybe he took offense to that.

Couldn't say, the wildest ride I'll do at a waterpark is the Lazy River

:lmao::rotfl2:

Okay, I have a good question to ask...all day, it feels like my ears are going to pop. Left ear in particular feels like it is "rumbling" "crackling" etc...driving me nuts, it's not a headache. What the hell can I do to relieve it?

Close enough for me.:thumbsup2 I just need a reference for future road trips.

No, i caught up with him halfway down and kicked him out of the way.:rolleyes1

[MYTHBUSTERS VOICE]Well, there's your problem![/MYTHBUSTERS VOICE]

My Lord. . .don't know about the rest of the country, but I swear it feels like it's about to snow here. . .the temp almost got down into the 50's.

.

Will these be the usual, allegedly witty comments? Or, are you hiring a writer?

?

I like the lazy river as well. I'll do the water slides at the resort, but we don't go to the water parks. We have a world class water park about 30 minutes from here (Holiday World & Spalshin Safari in Santa Claus, IN).
