Howdy fellow dads, hope all is well, haven't been on a lot this week, from being sick and other things going on right now, not bad things though. I'm trying to get back in the dating game, I think I have given enough time for DD to adjust to the change of being with me full time. I love DD with all my heart and soul but I feel it's time to let someone else in too

Amen. Happy hunting.

Hope you are feeling better and good luck out there on the dating front.

In other news, you better get your fantasy hockey team in gear, short season you know. :lmao:

Haha, I should of changed my rankings pre draft, damn ovi , who ranked him at #3?

Afternoon....

Would love a do-nothing day...got some chores I need to do though, and head out to parent's tonight to help them move stuff to their attic. DW took Audrey out to get Amelia from camp, so have a couple of hours to muself. :thumbsup2 Hoping everyone has a good lazy Sunday!

Again, thanks for the continued prayers and well wishes, Guys. It's really appreciated! :thumbsup2

Prayers for your DW Mike. And who's the 12 year old standing next to David? :rotfl2:
I don't know. I looked through the photos of this year's enlisted team members and saw 1 person who it could possibly be. Members from other shops act as "mechs"; they help out with the launches/recoveries and perform jet maintenance. They are usually from the paint shop; avionics shop; power plants shop; etc. There are usually 2 mechs for a launch and 1 for a recovery. Keep in mind, David is about 6'3" or 6'4" so a lot of members look quite a bit shorter than him! :lmao: I'll have to ask him who it is when he calls next time. If we do get to go out to El Centro in March, maybe we'll get to meet the "mystery mech"! :rotfl2:

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers! We did see the new neurologist and my DW is scheduled to have some more tests done. The new doctor is also of the opinion that all of this neuropathy may not be caused by the tumor/surgery but possibly something else, like Lyme Disease. Hopefully, she'll help us get to the bottom of this.

Here is our first Blue Angels pic of 2013. David is on the right, waiting for Boss to leave the cockpit after a flight. Things are going well in El Centro and we are still hopeful that we will be able to make a trip out there in March for the first airshow of the season.
There are tons of great Blue Angels pics on their FB page. Check it out and give them a Like! Thanks!

Hope your wife gets well soon, prayers going out:goodvibes

Here is a YouTube link to a Blue Angels practice video from 1/26/2013 in El Centro. You can hear the control tower giving Boss the all clear for take-off as well as Boss giving commands to the pilots (it sounds like he is singing). Boss is David's pilot in the #1 jet. Typically, the pilots will fly 3 times per day, 6 days per week in El Centro to get ready for the 1st airshow of the season on March 16th. The 1-4 jets take-off first followed a few minutes later by the 5 and 6 (the "solo" jets). Boss can be heard giving commands like, "Smoke on"; "Here we go"; "Up we go"; "A little power"; "Even more power"; "A little pull"; "Smoke off"; etc. When someone is going up for a "ride", the two-seat #7 jet sneaks into the lineup. And, if a jet is down for some reason, you might see something like 2 #4 jets or 2 #6 jets instead of the normal 1-4 and 5-6. Things are still early on in training so the formations aren't as tight as they would be during the show season and the 5 and 6 jets don't always take-off together.
