DIS Dads DDC XXVI: They all went to the DDCC and all we got was this Lousy Thread!

Just got done a nice relaxing dinner with the wife, sans child. She told me MIL wants to do a girls cruise with her so I mentioned wanting to go back to Disney solo. She whole-heatedly gave her approval and already started looking into budgeting it.

May have to wait a year or two to get around other vacations... but I'm getting back to the World twice in the next 2 years!

I admit, I am in a foul mood today...Dad has been told the chemo isn't really working anymore, they need to find a new avenue to fight the cancer, and work had a few rough spots.

So after working all day, the only one here who worked, DW expected me to prep dinner, and is now mad because I am "In a mood"....I don't think I am winning today at all...

There are several things that we were going to have to lay out funds for that have since evaporated from calendar, and thats a good thing. The only real issue is that we need to put away as much as possible for tuition. So there is that balance to deal with. Ive got a couple of ideas, DS has a few auditions coming up that may help as well, and DW is working on putting together as good a booking as possible. We will likely spend some time off site and will likely see some other attractions, but the plan is in the works.

We set the budget really high this year. We have the Spring Break trip over Easter Week and the the cruise/bookended at WDW in Fall Break. Half the budget is the cruise charge. I would prefer to save some of that money. It looks like we are going all in this year. I've thought about posting on the rent board about the Spring Break week at BWV, but if I got an offer, I'd have to be willng to say yes.

Does that mean you get to go on the cruise? Or, do you get to stay in WDW while they cruise?

I have the monorail, CR, Cinderella's castle, Aurora castle, Epcot ball, DHS Hat, and SM. I'd like to add more monorail loops, the train, and the Tree of Life if they ever make it.

According to the NfL spokesperson, the settlement meeting had already occurred and the deal just had not formally been finalized yet.

Oh I know but the Leafs have been Losers since '67. It's much more fun to remind them of that.
