DIS Dads DDC XXVI: They all went to the DDCC and all we got was this Lousy Thread!

Things seem to be looking up now. His temp has been below 99.5 since about noon and he is acting somewhat normal. Hopefully tonight will be good to us.

I'd have no idea what "normal" is for the girls...

Now she's actually looking at tacking a cruise on at the end????? Did I miss something??

I think our wivea are sisters. DW has talked about driving for over a year. Yesterday she was looking at airfare.

I admit, I am in a foul mood today...Dad has been told the chemo isn't really working anymore, they need to find a new avenue to fight the cancer, and work had a few rough spots.

So after working all day, the only one here who worked, DW expected me to prep dinner, and is now mad because I am "In a mood"....I don't think I am winning today at all...

I was the one pushing to drive...miind you, I don't drive, so I can see her point Still, it'll be way cheaper then airfare, plus no restictions on luggage or souvineers, plus side trips.


She wanted to see what it would take to tack on a cruise, and how long it would take etc, but if we get an unexpected winfall, I think I can expext to add this...

Many years ago Living with the Land ruined Talapia for me... When the guide said that the fish was much more tolerant to dense populations in fish farms, the scientist in me had to find out why that was. I won't share what I found when I researched it, but I will say I don't eat that fish anymore!

We always hit that ride while we wait for the Garden Grill, I just don't try to fact find anymore.

Do share. I eat most everything, so it won't ruin fish for me. I too like the Living with the Land ride. One of my must dos. I want to do the behind the seeds tour one of these trips.

If I remember my episodes of “Dirty Jobs” correctly, Mike referred to them as:
“Poo eating fish”.

Possible a mortgage payment or two...

Hi Rob, as long as you don't have to do a lot of the stuff addicts do to pay for your Disney trip, it should be all good

Always the challenge - the trip and not the fish.
Booking it is half the battle.

Everyone in the house is convinced that it needs to happen, so the convincing part of it is already out of the way. It will be part graduation present for the boy and part "25th" birthday present for the lovely lady of the house.

There are several things that we were going to have to lay out funds for that have since evaporated from calendar, and thats a good thing. The only real issue is that we need to put away as much as possible for tuition. So there is that balance to deal with. Ive got a couple of ideas, DS has a few auditions coming up that may help as well, and DW is working on putting together as good a booking as possible. We will likely spend some time off site and will likely see some other attractions, but the plan is in the works.

It looks like I may be getting my 10day WDW, Sea World, Busch Gardens Tampa, Lego Land trip this year, I should know for sure in the next 2 weeks but was told as of know it looks OK
