Hopefully the new staff will be a little easier on the nerves. When do you start, next week? I hope you took at least a weekend off before starting the new position.

Picked up the kid at school and we went out for lunch. Now relaxing at the hotel. Nice day today but it is going to start freezing tonight.

Hey guys, sorry about that. While I was working on that post, drama started. , all I could do was add that stuff at the top of it, and sit there stunned.

Basicly, I was having some cake, when a couple of others joined in, and cracked wise about the one being "the other cake", and making comments while the "other" one was in earshot. She lost it, came in and threw an envelope at me, which was my parting gift. I wasn;t part of this, I was working on my post, ignoring the others. She was upset and stormed off. I couldn't believe it. I handed the envelope over to one told her I don;t think I want this....she gave it to the boss, who pulled a bunch in and gave a little speech. But the underlining fact was, I felt embarasssed by this whole drama and a little shocked by it. Oh well.

So my gift? It was CASH BAY-BEE! It was for use on the Disney trip in August, $270 to be exact, which will go into the vacation account, and it will go to something, it was an awesome gesture for sure.
I will get a pic of whatever we designate the cash for and send it to them (Maybe Seaworld?)

One shift to go! Tomorrow I'll likely break the load down, and shmooze with everyone, maybe see some of my customers and convince them to move to the new store with me.

Also, I never clarified due to the distraction: My last shift is tomorrow, I don;t work Sundays, we are closed for the Family Day Holiday Monday, day off Tuesday, so my first shift is Wednesday.

- 5:05 Boma's

Still have to make one for Ohana's breakfast for the day we leave

I have a couple places in the Orlando area I also want to try this trip, plus of course T-Rex cafe, but you really don't need a ADR for it

Jealous of Shulas. Still dreaming for the lobster.

Big weekend here for DS, middle school basketball provincial championships this weekend. As a JV team we were ranked in Division 3 and there are 6 divisions, pretty good considering there are many varsity teams in this as well. It should be a good test for the boys. I get to resume the assistants seat as our head coach is back. Now the pressure is on him to keep the unbeaten string alive.

The blow-up will happen, just not yet, with me gone though, the place WILL (I am very cetain of this, not just me being a smart-***...behind the scenes, I handle a lot of situations, and keep the store runnning. Not being there will cause things to go unchecked, leading to unrest etc) implode, plus the personality clashes are getting more and more frequent. It;s a matter of time now. One good guy has already confided he might move on soon, job in;t fun, and he already has a full-time job that he is due or a prommotion. He is in it for some $$ for his yearly trips to Germany to see family, and quality beer, but with me gone, it will get worse.

Finally settled in for the evening....just got in from masonic funeral services for a good friend who is also the local funeral director. Needless to say the place was packed!!!
