DIS Dads DDC XXVI: They all went to the DDCC and all we got was this Lousy Thread!

Evening Gents,

DS's middle school JV team won again tonight to run their recorn to 15-0. The regular head coach is back tomorrow so I can now safely sit back with my 8-0 record as a basketball coach.

Middle school provincials are this weekend followed by the district championships. This weekend could be tough as we are in with varsity teams from some smaller schools.

You guys up north still got pretty bad, I'm not sure if it is in Mass or CT, but my frozen stuff comes from Westfield, this morning I called and they said it would be here sometime today, around 3pm I called back and they said they hope to be able to get it here tomorrow, I'm taking it that a lot of highways are not cleared yet and are closed

Well, my Canadian friends, I may have spoken too soon about us being up that way. We were thinking of taking a little Spring Break trip up to see Niagara Falls with a Toronto detour later this spring. But I may need to hold onto that cash, because...

Our wait list came through, and we'll be able to stay at Aulani this summer! Now I just have to pay for it.

I haven't told my wife yet. Her birthday is next month, so I think I'm going to make it a surprise for her then.

Not sure what your thinking, but if you feel this is the right decision, I guess I will accept your decision.

I just challenged DW to the Happy Haunted 5K which will be going on while we are there. I won't be up the the Twilight Zone 10 miler by then. Plus, I'm not thrilled with the idea of starting a run at 11 pm.

Got back from the Keys a bit ago. Nice trip but no diving. Winds were blowing from the east so conditions were bad. No need to shed tears, we had fun.

While I was in the sun I was glad to hear everyone made it through the storm OK. I posted on Facebook this picture of the Pirate Princess Pirate that was taken at the Animal Shelter where she volunteers on Saturdays. They got between 12-18 inches on campus. She had a great time playing in the snow even if her Northern classmates were perplexed with her infatuation with the white stuff.

Rediscovered a new favorite restaurant. Their steamers were great.

Also went to a restaurant on the Bay side for my UK friend’s pre 60th birthday.

a.) It's easier to use a leash when walking the dog. Just a suggestion..
b.) Make sure you check her luggage when you pick her up at the end of the semester. One of the bags may be barking.

Ok guys - I need your help.....

I've been tasked with coming up with some T-shirt designs for our day trip to MK in 6 weeks.

They're thinking some kind of name design on the front....and maybe another design that I could print on a whole sheet for the back - somehow incorporating all of our name designs.

I know some of you are good with graphics....anyone willing to help a guy out??

I've checked out the DISsigners section, and there's so much there - I'm kind getting overwhelmed!

Any help would be appreciated!

I have some small designs I used/modified from the DiSigns threads I will share if you want to see them. They are just smaller graphics we used on the front 'pocket' area. I can personalize them with names, but it could take a few days.

I'm critically on the fence about Disney on Ice this year. It comes to town every February. and we've gone for the last 3 years now. My kids love it and it's inexpensive.

This year, it is in town 4 weeks before we go to The World. I'm currently worrying (more than I should) that going to Disney on Ice will detract from the Disney experience since my son is Mickey Mouse obsessed and has never seen the real thing before. If he sees him (and all his friends) right in town, it'll be less special when we meet them at THEIR house.

or maybe i'm just over thinking.....HALP!

I think it could actually enhance your upcoming trip. Whet the appetite for more Disney fun. And you can state that the next time they see the characters, they can actually meet them.
