Been a bit of a roller coaster the last few days...
Well last Thursday my dad went into the hospital with an accelerated heart rate, I believe the technical term is "Atrial Fibrillation". Doc says it's good news that they caught it now, as it could have resulted in a Stroke or Heart Attack while on their drive home. It's under control now, and they will start their drive home tomorrow. They usually take 3 days, but not sure how long this time, as they are going to take it really easy.
And DW has been battling the stomach flu for a few days... But she has been enjoying her bracelet...

A-Fib is definitley not something to mess around with!!! Glad that he was able to get help...tell him to watch and make sure if he feels bad that he does not revert back into A-Fib...some people say they can tell when they do it.
Tell Sheri we hope she feels better and that we feel her pain!!!
Morning guys! Who's in for a Photoblitz tonight on Facebook? Theme: Superbowl party! (hope I don't get sued too)
Good age to start kids on the slopes. They have little to no fear.

I didn't post this but...
My folks go to Florida every winter from X-mas - until now(ish).

Sadly enough, I was approached and asked if she would play in the more competitive league next year by one parent, and a coach in that league asked if I would coach with him. I'm sure he wants dd as a player more than me as a coach.
Morning Guys,
More basketball later and then home to watch the superbowl commercials.
Morning all. Nothing on today's schedule except the Superbowl. The menu includes chips n queso, chex mix, chili cheese dogs, and Landshark beer to wash it down.

The Pirate Princess's place got about an inch of snow overnight. She isn't feeling so hot so no snow angels.
The following is for Jim's eyes only...

I am currently sitting by the pool about to have a Bloody Mary. Not a cloud in the sky and it is warming to the mid 70's. Not a bad gig if you can get it
Brent, when we were not football fans we would watch for the commercials.![]()
That's great that they caught it early, thoughts and prayers are with him
Well be praying for a safe trip back for them
Prayers Brian...
Glad to hear it was caught early. Hope they have a safe trip back and your DW feels better.

Harder to see the commercials here in Canada though, they the CRTC makes sure there is "Canadian Advertising" present. I'll check out commercials online tomorrow. Yes, some will be aired, but not all....
I can do the chat but pictures would probably be just me and DS. I was going to go to Scott's party but he is serving Bud Light Lime on tap.
And Scott's gonna be there....
I think that even you'd come if I was there Brian - just to get the free beer/scotch.
Won DS game today by 3.The other coach went box and one on DS. He still led the team in scoring and controlled a lot of the game. Now we are one game out of 1st place in our division at 8-4. .
Our Superbowl Party menu:
Baked ham and Swiss Hawaiian roll sandwiches
Pigs in the blanket
Potato salad
Meatballs
Corn casserole
Taco salad
Veggie tray
Chips
Chocolate chip cookies with Oreos inside
Morning gentlemen. Looks like a good weekend has been had by some proud Dads so congratulations!
Another 1/2 inch of snow so church was cancelled. SWMBO and the kids were heading to the vacation homefor a few days to check things out but are stuck here until the weather improves. One of the advantages of homeschooling is your schedule is flexible.
Good day to try to get some computer files cleaned up. I have Zip drives I need to check out and get rid of. Finally got through all the 5.25 and 3.5 floppies. Yeah, I'm old.

Trying to get DD to try skiing while she is up there. So far no luck but maybe next winter.
AirGoofy said:Filed by taxes today using Turbo Tax. The good news is that I have a $50 federal refund. The bad news is that I had to claim Jim as a dependent. Fortunately, I had CJ's credit card # to buy the audit defense.
Now, onto the Superbowl. I'm picking the Ravens.

Travel expenses, don't forget those
Hey Guys.
Another tournament win for DS and his JV team today. Undeefeated in the year with two tournament wins. I really think it is time for me to retire as a coach and claim that undefeated career.
Actually I have one more game before the head coach returns.
