DIS Dads DDC XXVI: They all went to the DDCC and all we got was this Lousy Thread!

Do you get to take an extra week of vacation? Or just lose the time?

Sadly, I just lose the time. I would like more vacation, but I don't even have time to take all that I get as a base. I told my assistant before she started her new position that she would find working on salary she really will be making less per hour than as an hourly employee. She found out I was right.

We did close the door, you have to keep the cold in.

I like it! As long as I get sunshine the temperature isn't that big of an issue . It is sunny and 13 in American (really cold in Canadian), but it is much better than 35 and rainy which is "normal" around this time of year.

Some bad news. For budget purposes, it looks we will have to cancel the Spring Break trip. If any of you would like to stay at the BWV studios from March 30 to April 4, I'll give you a good price.

I only have a few more weeks to avoid the DVC holding points situation. I guess we could consider a trip later this summer, but will probably just bank them to next year.

Sorry to hear that. I know you were looking forward it, but as the voice of economic reason in your family I'm sure you made the proper choice.

Temperature dropped below 60?

Some bad news. For budget purposes, it looks we will have to cancel the Spring Break trip. If any of you would like to stay at the BWV studios from March 30 to April 4, I'll give you a good price.

I only have a few more weeks to avoid the DVC holding points situation. I guess we could consider a trip later this summer, but will probably just bank them to next year.

Temperature dropped below 60?

IT DID! Had to wear my Mickey Jacket this morning. Going to the Keys for a day tomorrow and will bring it with me. Probably the only one around the pool bar wearing a jacket. Going for a few days next weekend and am supposed to go diving. There is no way that even a toe is going to touch the water.

I know my life sucks but it is still cold to us Southern boys.

Just wanted to check in quick. Things are going well down here in WDW. Have had 2 disdad meets and one disson meets. Having fun. Glad I am missing out on the mess that is at home, Flooding from the rain the other day, temps going from mid 50s to single digits in a matter of 48 hours. Rain changing to freezing rain to 3-7 inches of snow. Yeah it is tough down here. Was 80 the other day. was a bit chilly today. Not bad in the sun but it was breezy and in the shade you would get chilled. So here are some pics.

I would love to take you up on that offer, but I doubt I have the budget space to fit in the cost of the flight and park tix. Unless... maybe I can forego the two dental bridges and wisdom tooth extraction to help pay for the trip.

I will talk to DW about the possibility, though.

Our company president and I are trying to plan our 20th anniversary for the company. I had a whole plan worked up and presented it. His response was "I think I would rather just fly everyone to Hawaii for a week! He was completely serious. How sweet would that be if we can pull it off!

In one of the pools I'm in they give 0-0 their entry back and a free entry for the following year.

If Bal 6, SF 3 comes through I might be buying myself a DVC contract. Fingers crossed.

Thanks. I struggle with I am letting down my children, but then I remember how blessed we are - we are going on a cruise later this year.
