Barry:

To help parents out, Disney created the “Child Swap”. This is a FREE system where by parents and the child walk up to a cast member (Disney employee) who is working the entrance to the attractions queue. The parent requests to take part in the child swap. The cast member then gives the parent a child swap fast pass. To use the fast pass, the first parent will stand in the standard queue while the second parent stays with the child. After the first parent has experienced the attraction, the second parent uses the fast pass and is allowed to instead stand in the fast pass queue. This allows the second parent a shorter wait, while the first parent remains with the child. The child swap allows for the second parent to ride with up to 2 additional guests.

I don't think they even have to be kids... so you and Bambi can have Mark join you for 6 of those 13 rides. :thumbsup2

You think I can get $800 worth of Dole whips in 1 trip? :rotfl2:

You are trusting using the website to do this. You should check your account again just to make sure. .

Assuming the Dole Whip is $5 and you are at Disney a week, you would only need to eat 22 a day, a little more than 1 per hour. Maybe the next DDC Convention Challenge? As for Disney website, I agree, they are the worse, but it worked for me.

My hope it the change fees would be expensive enough to keep her from changing her mind. We have the arrival date set. Everything else is still in motion. How long do we stay, where do we stay, and even how the hell do we get down there? Each has changed at least three times. If I was the sole decision maker we would have booked this around Thanksgiving and would now just be worried about saving enough.
.

Oh, so if it involves money, then women won't change their mind. Bottle and sell it. :lmao:

I know where you are going with this and I hope it is true in your case.

Sorry, that is not the case. You can have up to 3 people ride with the child swap ticket. :thumbsup2:

I didn't know that either. But, we only had the two of us there, and one parent waited with both dds and then swapped. WDW may have frowned upon us leaving the 2 year old with the 4 year old to babysit while we did ride swaps. :lmao:

Water temp is only about 74 though. Chilly.
Already have a hose you can use.
.

Did I say feel better soon? Maybe I need to post more about how much Catholic school girls party.

Really? I did not know that...

You might have to bring a kid with you... but my mom and I brought Juliana on Soarin' with child swap ticket... no questions asked.

Come on Barry! How do you not know this stuff???? :rolleyes1

I can confirm this as truth... We did Test Track one day on rider swap. I stayed with the kids while DW, my BiL, mom and sisters rode. After they got done, I rode with my DW and my sister.

So yes, one rider swap pass allows up to 3 people into the attraction, and while it is meant to be used by the person waiting with the child... well that's really just a guideline. :rolleyes1

So, the school snow day has resulted in two things:

(1) Watched Avengers again.
(2) Won in Wii Dance Party 4 against dd (8) to Oops, I did it again. I guess Brittany Spears inspired me to shake my moneymaker.

I did however lose quite a few other dance offs. Good day.

:rotfl2: Thanks for the backup on the Nemesis thing there Tim! :thumbsup2

Still worthy of consideration for a free WDW trip... :scratchin

Tim, in case you missed it, Brian let it be known that he'd like to go on the other 7 rides with Barry. :thumbsup2

Oh yeah... also, remember that the rider swap Fast Passes aren't time stamped. They can be used any time that day, so bank those for later in the day! :thumbsup2

I just get tired of the paralysis by over analysis. The time share might only be good for a week and we want to stay for 10 days so I threw out we stay at AOA the other three days. And since we can't book the time share until 60 days out that we just book AoA for the 10 days and change it once we get the time share booked.

The evidence needs to be provided via Youtube video....:happytv:

I hear ya. We had our agonizing debate over the vacation budget, which other than the alcohol budget and retirement budget, are the only ones I care about. Then, DW brings home new comforters, blinds, and curtains for youngest dd. I ask her where that falls in the budget and she doesn't have an answer.

The other one probably recorded it. I need to go review their phones. I'm sure it wasn't pretty.

Tired, but home....DW and Amelia left for the camp, they are driving up Amelia's friend and her mom so at least DW has company. Snowing very hard here now, so I'll feel better when she is home safe, too bad she has to drive in this...:sad2:

Igloo building and Polar Bear 'rasslin'? Have fun Amelia!

Just camp, not basic training....:rotfl2:

Hope the Brownie camping goes well for Amelia. We are just finishing up cookie sales. Didn't push it too hard this year once we realized it would have been cheaper to just donate to the troop rather than buy up all the extra cookies that the troop had to take.

They are already talking about the spring cookie drive, no issues there, I have a LOT of interested parties at work. The more cases sold, the cheaper the summer camping will be.

Posted these on the other site... figured I'd share here too...

Ice Storm 2013...

Yikes! That's nasty...stay home and safe!

After watching so many episodes of Finding Bigfoot, they need to step up there game, they should do a episode with Chuck Norris, "Uncle Ted" Nugent, the guys from the Gator Boys and of course Turtle Man:confused3, If you really want to find out whats making the nosies might as well go with with people who could get the job done:thumbsup2

safe!

Hope they make it home safe and that it warmer there than here.

The show wouldn't last very long if they caught big foot in the first episode. Bigfoot is currently in Area 54 in Roswell with the fake moon landing and all the other conspiracies.

DW called, they made it to the camp, took twice as long...she and the other mother are on their way back now. Good news is it looks like the snow has stopped falling.

Maybe Bigfoot is DIRECTING the fake Moon landings, using surpressed alternate fuel technologies...:scratchin

Evening guys,

Spent the evening with DS at their first JV basketball tournament of the season. We played our two round-robin games and won both to finish first in the pool. Play in the semis tomorrow afternoon at 3. It will also be my debut as the head coach. Our regular coach will be away with three of our guards at another tournament with their club team. Should be fun!

I was going to suggest pictures but I think we need the video and it should be posted on page 1 of these threads. :rotfl2:

Barry, is the whole family going on the Dream in March?

Yup, all 5 of us. Almost done with our door magnets. Should be able to post them here this weekend.

:rotfl2: Thanks for the backup on the Nemesis thing there Tim! :thumbsup2
No problem.. I love piling on Mark when it comes to TOT & burgers. :rotfl2:

I need the park to be open for 24 hours and I guess I'm not getting any sleep to accomplish this.
