Hi Dave! Glad things are looking a little bit better these days. Good luck with the car shopping.

I just can't believe that Brian didn't jump on that statement about the honest disdad from Ohio.

I already did in a previous post... About the problem with buying a Ford, is that you'd then own a Ford. :rotfl2:
Didn't want to come on to strong... Wouldn't be a fair fight. ;)

But while he is in northern Ohio, buying a car from an honest DISDad, he should probably also stop in and visit Scott. :lmao:

Zerf, glad things are beginning to fall in place. Wishing you guys a Merry (and stress free) Christmas.

The Pirate Princess arrived last night and actually figured out the right place to wait for me. I was late because they closed the main drag to the airport for construction and had a really long and obscure detour.

This morning she picks up her IB certificate and then lunch with a couple of friends. We pick out and decorate our tree this afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day.

Glad she is back safely. Enjoy finding and decorating the tree. Ours has been up since the Friday after Thanksgiving. Make sure you use sun block.:lmao::lmao:

We all start on Friday. School closed until January 7th for teachers and 9th for students. I am closing our office on Friday as well and we will be closed for 2 weeks.

2 weeks off, woo-hoo!:cool1: Enjoy the time. I don't think I've had two full weeks off in 12 years. I really need to re-assess my priorities.

Hi Brian :wave2:

You'd better keep in line - or I'll send some of those border patrol penguins to you house to shape you up!

I saw that comment, but that seemed to be more a shot at Ford. I was waiting for a more personal attack.

And there it is... :rotfl2::lmao:

Dear Media:

Please quit telling me more about that guy who shall remain nameless. We'll never know what all his problems were or why he did what he did. It isn't something we can or ever will comprehend, so please stop trying. You shouldn't even be giving him the satisfaction of having his picture and name all over the TV.

If you want to talk about someone, memorialize those whose lives were taken.

Thank you.

Well guys, just had a hallmark moment with my supervisor telling me that I've really matured and stepped up since my DD was born and that he has no worries about when he has to take off cuz he knows I can run the shop just as well as him, and he also gave me gift cards to McDonald's and bass pro shop for Christmas so already a good morning

Congratulations on the gifts and good words from the boss. Sounds like a good way to start a Wednesday. And yup, kids make you grow up quickly. The good part is once they get to 10 or so you can start acting immature again and you'll fit right in.:rotfl2::rotfl2: At least that's shat my wife says.:sad2:

You stopped drinking! Now see that's your first problem right there.

Remember you need to start early to build up a good base and learn to do it right. Otherwise you'll just be a silly drunk.:rotfl::rotfl:

My wife sends me to my least favorite of all stores anywhere, Walmart:crazy2:, it always seems like a scene out of a cheap zombie movie in there:lmao:, well needless to say they didn't have what she wanted and got it at Target it wasn't on sale there so it was $10 more, but I called my wife and told her NEVER to send me there again::yes::

I didn't completely quit, I'll have a few every now and then, but compared to what I was drinking, it took a huge dip

I don't think I ever matured that much.

How else do you make it thru the week?

The only thing good about Walmart is People of Walmart website. Check it out. I am amazed at how the Walton children have billions and get away with paying their employees so little they are eligible for food stamps. Once again, the taxpayer subsidizes billionaires.

I'm letting the kids sleep in for another 20 minutes then a busy day gets kicked off. ."

Mine already are fighting. I'm sending them to your house.

Sour head candy as a medical cure? You better hurry up before Norm decides it's a good business venture and he can patent it's use and charges you 10 times as much for a prescription. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hope it gets better. It does not sound like something I would like to experience.

Too late. I have a meeting with GlaxoSmithKline later today.

Vacation already? Is this public school? I know my nephew is out already, but he goes to a private catholic school and Christmas is a big holiday. We have to go through Friday. Had to basically force DS to school this morning. He had the stomach virus that I had over the weekend the last couple of days and had no intentions of getting up for school. Hopefully he makes the full day.

Public school. They watched movies Monday and had pajama day yesterday. Ky education.
