Today is just running a couple of errands between watching football games. Dolphins vs the Bills at 1:00.

DS is feeling like his old self today so it looks like he'll get to play in the last game of the tournament, a 5th place showdown!

Perhaps I spoke too soon, he's not sure yet.

At least he is feeling well enough to think about playing. Just in time for Christmas.

Good morning everyone. Finally got the final piece to the tree. Our tree topper arrived yesterday.

Tink is now our new star!

Howdy, just got out of church, Christmas at the in laws today.

Hoping and praying that there will be football on the TV. Never any better than a 50/50 chance of that happening here.

Hope the Colts get the W today, but just as importantly, hoping the Test Track Dummies can pull another one out this week.

We go to Mike's Pastry all the time. I often have cookies from there.


I'm not going to share them with you, but I do often have them.

Team Tim is the physical manifestation of one the core truths of running. "Sometimes Running Sucks". Tim has dealt with adversity and kept going. Running a half marathon is mental and dealing with injury and pain has made Tim stronger. That should help him during the race. Also I'm running with a group of 8 or so (some of whom are run/walkers) I might see if they can get in formation around Barry anytime they are going to start a walk interval.

This is what I'm talking about! Go Team Tim.



(However, Nemesis, Tim's leg fractures are going to look like blisters compared to the damage I plan to inflict on you when I jump out at you dressed as Goofy with a baseball bat during the Marathon...)

I am still a little jealous that you have this decision to make by the way. Still looking at trying to go August 2013. If not, already have the plans for 2014. If August is a no go, I may be having some serious withdrawals

Well, I figured DW would spend the money anyway, so we might as well spend it on a Disney trip.

Yes, Griswold your way to vacation. Save money on the flights and write a trip report so we can laugh along with you. Or write a screenplay based on your trip and make a movie. Of course you'll need to stop at cousin Philips on the way for some "real tomato ketchup". HAHAHAHa!

The lawyer fees would take all the book/ screen okay profits.

DW is about to go out and help the economy but it is at the grocery store. We have cut back on what we spend at Christmas by booking cruises and WDW trips and calling them Christmas gifts.

I'm using the hose to put out the credit card fire. I'll be looking forward to when we can cut back.

Good morning everyone. Finally got the final piece to the tree. Our tree topper arrived yesterday.

Nice tree. Cinderella still sits above ours.

The whole gift card/gift thing can get crazy. We get letters from our business contacts every year that provide the policies on if things are allowed and if so, what is OK or not. I certainly understand how someone with low morals could easily be swayed by gifts. I however have very high morals like the rest of the disDads so it could never be an issue. We regularly take customers to sports games and things like that.

Just settling in after our typical Sunday of church, breakfast, and grocery store.

Getting ready to watch some football!

My Browns don't stand a chance today against Payton and his Broncos.


Anyway - I'm blessed with a day off tomorrow and Tuesday. Tomorrow consists of a morning of quiet while DW takes DD to church for choir practice.

Hopefully a quiet afternoon followed by our family Christmas meal before Christmas Eve church. DD's sing before the service and during the service.

Christmas day is a bad dash here and there any everywhere. We do our quick gift opening here at home and then straight to the in-laws for the morning. Followed by dinner at my parents Tuesday evening and yet another exchange.

Then it's back to the grind Wednesday!

DW is about to go out and help the economy but it is at the grocery store. We have cut back on what we spend at Christmas by booking cruises and WDW trips and calling them Christmas gifts.

We are donating at the grocery store as well. I managed to avoid having Christmas here, but we have a lot of stuff to get ready and bring with.
