Morning dads. DD and I were discussing our upcoming vacation. She said, "daddy, next time can we go on a cruise to indipolis (Indianapolis)?" Geez, not only is she not good at geography, she has a jaded view of vacation spots.

Morning guys! Yesterday was DW birthday. We celebrated over the weekend so yesterday was pretty low key.

I am thinking about going back to Netflix now that they are offering Disney movies.

Happy Birthday to DW! I saw that that note and thought the same thing. I'm pretty sure our movie selection at home has most of them though.

Finally got the cards in the mail. For all my new dad friends and their families.

While most lobster is cooked (usually boiled or baked), as long as the lobster is alive when you harvest the meat it is OK to eat. I have had it raw, served over ice kind of like oysters before (kind of like a tartar). Tastes better cooked in my opinion. For background, I used to work at a functions restaurant as a line cook.

Steam or broil mine and don't forget the melted butter. Love lobster. Had steamed clams this weekend in a wine/butter/garlic broth. They served it with toasted garlic bread for dipping. Good stuff.

Lol, no need, he's feeling a lot better, which is good, either way he's retiring in a few years so atleast it gives me more time to make sure I want the job, the money would be great now but overall it'll be better for me if its in a few years

I told you I was going to do some damage at Whispering Canyon, and I meant it. They went in the red on our meal.

We all got bottomless milkshakes and BiL and I took full advantage. Not to mention we talked the waitress into bringing us all the meats on the first platter.

And then we asked for more.

I completely agree. Before we had the girls we ate at sit down for every meal and by the end of the week I thought I might explode.

I know... we had QSDP and just did 4 table service meals out of pocket. I never felt hungry at any point during the trip.

Roll your ankle until it swells up to the size of a grapefruit?

I do that pretty frequently anyway. First night of basketball this year is tonight.

Should be a cushy day, setting up the companies new security system and set it to where the boss can check it on his phone, he has no clue how long it takes so I should be pretty set today

Just make sure when you set it up that the cameras point away from you!

Nope. It is called a Noel(not a yule log) in France so I'm guessing that????? It's called "delicious" in american.

Holy cow, I think I've been away for a week or so. Work has been crazy since before Thanksgiving, seriously cutting into my DIS time. I pop here in occasionally to to try to read up, but as soon as I do another fire pops up at work that I have to put out. I did want to quote Mark's comment above because, well, it's awesome.

Days like today, make me glad I work for the same company my dad does. A vendor comes in and gives him homemade fudge (awesome btw) for a Christmas thank you and my dad then ask if there's any ganja in it, I was dying laughing
