Still waiting for the Tag fairy as well. Sadly, I'm not sure he/she works full time.

My plan to post pad and sneak into place today fell apart. I was actually accomplishing something at work.

My full-time assistant is resigning to take a job that is based on grants. I am disappointed she is leaving but would have been disappointed if she didn't get the job as well. I've gone from 80 man-hours per week available to assist me in March 2012 to 15 man-hours starting in January and they still want the same output.

At least I am still on the green side of the sod and employed but I don't think I will be on much anymore guys. If you ever hit the lottery and need someone to mow grass, I work cheap.

Well then I guess you'll have to work after midnight and sneak in that way.

Good evening fellow dads, at the doc with DD she's still running a fever, got my DVC closing docs today so should have that sent out tomorrow, also I hated doing this seeing as though I'm close to being a DVC member, but I ended up renting pts for DD and my DL trip Oct 7-12th at VGC studio, I decided since the dates were set I didn't want to risk not getting the dates at the 7mo mark , I'll prob rent some of mine to make up for it. But overall excited to have the trip booked hotel wise,

Sounds like your doing well. My parents put money in for my dds school, didn't for mine, and with my work-free-tuition benefit, I am set there. I just want us to save more.

My parents gave the kids some savings bonds when they were born and give them money toward school for birthdays and Christmas so they are well on their way to having something. I went mostly on scholarship, college was $5K for the year locally for my undergrad. My masters was $65K, but paid mostly by my employer so no school loans for me. I am hoping we can keep any loans for them as low as possible, but DS is talking Harvard or MIT so we'll see.

we have saved a rainy day fund separate from all the other stuff to make sure emergencies are covered. We adjust the balance every couple of years based on changes. Good luck with the saving, it's not easy right now (especially with a very expensive Disney habit....we may need an intervention).

Well in this company, the supervisor is the highest position outside of being the owner, so after this no advancement but could lead to another position at a different company in the future

I can bank the 150 2012 pts if I choose to, but by renting I paid 1k out of my own pocket so if I rent the 2012 pts then it'll even out and pretty much pay for our park tickets

Well, we all knew it was going to happen, but today, it is official. I lost the phone battle. Oldest dd now has her own cell phone, which she gets to open on Christmas morning.

Don't do it! There's still time.

What type of phone is she getting (or can we ask with your better half monitoring your posts?). Make sure it has unlimited texting, that's what they spend most of the day doing.

Both of the children have asked for iphones, but we have held strong so far.

Yikes, that is no fun. 80% of those in the Day Surgury yesterday had that done. I can only hope and pray the doctors didn't mix the cameras up, since mine went down the throat. Prayers it turns out all okay.

In the US, they sterilize the camera's before using on a new patient. I'm glad I don't use the Canadian health system. At least put some of Norm's Monkey Butt Powder on first.
