I have CM breakfast at 9:20 and also have Alice in Wonderland Tea Party at 1:30. We are staying at WL. Should this be a no park day so we are not running back and forth. Also, where should we end the day for dinner? Whispering Canyon? We will also have a little party with cake set up in the room when we return. Can someone give me any ideas?

Your plans so far sound great. Even though it will be a lot of running around, I would still try to get to a park - that way she can get a birthday button to wear as she walks proudly around the park with CMs wishing her a happy birthday. I made an appt for DD9 at BBB on her birthday. She looked like a princess and they even gave her a "birthday princess" sash to wear. It was perfect for her special birthday dinner at 1900 Park Faire. Just make sure you note on all your reservations that it's her birthday. Even the day before and day after, the restaurants sang to her. Have a great trip!

Great idea....thanks so much. Do you think BBB should be before or after the tea party?? How long does it take for them to do that?

I would try to get an appt before the tea party - that way she'll look like a princess for the party. It only takes about 30 minutes, but I would plan on an hour just to be safe, plus time to get to the GF. If you have time, you can get the photo shoot done in DD - that was a lot of fun for my girls. All the photos go onto photopass.

We are going in Sept. and DD #3 will be turning 7 on our last day. We have dinner at 1900 Park Fare and then we are going to the MNSSHP afterwards. I think we might take it easy early in the day....maybe go swimming and relax. Maybe you could take her to downtown Disney???

It sounds like you got a lot of special things planned. I just wanted to give one little warning. My dd will be celebrating her 9th birthday this year at WDW. Her birthday is the first week in July and that is always vacation week for us. Last year she had her 8th at WDW, and we were at Disneyland for her 7th. We've tried to do some special things each time. Well DS has finally had enough and got quite angry about it. You see his birthday is in January, and all he ever does on his "special day" is go to school and have a cake for desert with dinner. Yes we have a party with his friends on the weekend, but DD is getting that too, the week before we go.

This year we are not doing anything special that is in addition to normal vacation planning. We will get a birthday pin for here when we get to the park but that's all. We are doing water park in the morning, heading to Epcot in the afternoon, dinner at Spoodles, and Fantasmic after that. It will be a great day, but there are no special birthday activities.

We took our DD to WDW for her 13th in Jan. She wore her "birthday button" to Epcot and was given a dream fastpass in honor of her b-day!!!
